I never worry about what time it is during class. Most of my classes don't even have a clock in their room.
Though tomorrow (or today, technically ) I will be taking the PSAT. I know I'll be checking the clock a lot at that time. |

Me, I hate being in class and will be like this:
"Yay, 15 minutes of class are over!"
"Class is halfway done!"
"Only 9 minutes to go!"
And so on. I get really annoyed at teachers who let the lectures run over

I try to avoid the clock while at work. It makes it soooo much better.

If the teacher doesn't make the lecture interesting, I would be really annoyed when they're talking. Luckily, most of my teachers manage to be interesing. |

I take a clock with me and count the time remaining until the next break.

My laptop clock has a bad habit of synchronizing to the wrong time whenever a DST switch approaches.
My classes actually tend to end early than go over. I wonder if that's good or bad.

Classes rarely ran over for me because people have places to go. Maybe by a minute or two (or an extra 15 minutes in case of an in-class exam) but that's it.

I actually had a teacher who expected us to stay so late that people with a class afterward, such as myself, couldn't get there in time
I think he was used to the 100-minute classes and ended up teaching a 50-minute class

Thank goodness I never had to deal with that crap. Seems to be annoying.
The only reason why I would be late to class, is if I was out in the portable and my next class was across the entire school in building one.

I seem to get hit with teachers who do that
My middle school had a moronic policy that students could only go to their lockers:
- Before school
- Between 3rd and 4th hours
- At lunch
- After school
In 8th grade, my locker was along the easternmost hallway of the school, and both 3rd and 4th hours for me during the first semester were in the far west wing of the building So I pretty much had to circumnavigate the school in 5 minutes and hope I didn't have to use the bathroom. At least for second semester some of my classes changed and I didn't have to walk as far.

I forgot which year it was, but I had two lockers so it made it easier to get books for certain classes.

I got mine changed for high school
My old one was way in the back by the science labs, and I took science at another school (the advanced and AP classes for the county were held at a single school for like 6 districts), so I was able to get one near the front instead

One of the lockers I had for all four years. Made it easier to remember where it was.

Yeah, high school was like that (except for locker changes), but middle school would change it each year. My locker change was near the start of 9th grade, so I pretty much always had locker 104, which happens to be the first 3 digits of my Jul ID In middle school, I had 468, 146, and 452.
Yes, I'm a numbers geek Not really the same way as Cirvante, I'm more into house numbers and route numbers and the like rather than higher math.

Most of my high school's lockers had a weird feature: once you got the first 2 numbers correct, you just had to turn it to the right (IIRC) and it would stop automatically in the right place and open

So the lockers had their own locks on them? We had to supply our own.

Yeah, the locks were built into the lockers. I think the lockers for P.E. used separate locks, but they were still provided by the school and had to be returned.

High school lockers were always a bit annoying for me, since visiting them meant having to run to class and not visiting them meant walking around with 30 pounds on your back. The earlier lockers were built such that you could put the lock on while the latch was raised, so it looked locked, but you could slide it open. When the later lockers had different designs, I had to just learn to enter the combination fast. After a while, my thumb subconciously reset the lock to 0 each time I closed it.
