I finally fixed the compression of the overlay. That means that Tileset 0 is fully editable!

BTW, there is no way to find out how the background special effects work. Even after days of tracing the game's code i went nowhere. So keep it in mind when you create your own backgrounds.

Expect a new release VERY SOON!

EDIT: Yay! Solid coins! The behavior editing in Jyotyu works perfectly

Question: Since Jyotyu is now properly supported, will you add the ability to rename objects? That way, we can name our own blocks? Also, how about custom previews? (for custom invisible blocks, ? blocks, bricks, etc...)

oh, that's true. it would be useful.
It wouldnt be hard to do. probably make the comment lists as external files rather than built-in (and unchangeable) resource files.

I know that the graphics for the tilesets can only be so large, but what about Map16? Can it be increased?

It's possible, but it seems pointless to me. No one is going to bother to hack it; I don't have the patience to find the offsets required for all the kiosk demos.

well, they are just a 2d texture, but rendered by the 3d engine, so they use the 3d texture format. much like pipes.

So, can we change where the light reflection is? Or is that just part of the image/texture?

Oh... The animated blocks in jyotyu tileset use the same pallete as the normal image, as well as the powerups (mushroom, flower, etc)... So, if you use the graphics importer, it changes the pallete, which the other graphics don't know the difference of the pallete, and they look totally messed up... I would post a screenshot, but I deleted the file out of frustration...

edit: I didn't know you guys had a posts merged bar...
