Dirbaio, in version 5.2 is a small thing that bothers me. If you copy with CTRL + left mouse button objects, they are sometimes so fast that they go out of the level editor window. Could you fix this little bug?

it happens when you do the following:
1) Highlight more objects and/or sprites.
2) CTRL + Left Mouse button and move.
3) The objects and/or sprites are too fast

dirbaio, please could you fix that?

Can you add perhaps a Undo and Redo button in the Hex Editor? This would be awesome =)

r140 fixes the glitch when cloning multiple objects.

The ncl's on the narcs can't be opened because they aren't lz compressed, and the editor expects them to be so.
If you compress them and open them, it works. But you have to remember to decompress them again after using them.

I'll make the editor autodetect if the files are lz compressed right now.

I've finally decided to get the texture editor working again in the new texture editor.
Once that is done, and some bugs fixed, 5.2 will be out.

r141: I've begun to implement it. I haven't tested importing/exporting anything yet. It can just view some (?) textures, and its terribly bugged.

the editor is open source so anybody can look up the source files

chances are you are using a copy of 5.2 beta that somebody put together, which still has a few bugs

we don't know what revision you have, so we can't help you if it breaks your game

You have the "development" version of 5.2

The source code of the editor is public, so anyone can go to the project page and compile it.
http://code.google.com/p/nsmb-editor/

But it's still unfinished, and it has some bugs.

Once 5.2 is out officially, everyone will be able to edit ALL in nsmb-.-
So I cant make something special, because everyone is able to make the same thing through a easily way!
I cant figure out new things with for example "HEX EDIT", because EVERYONE is able to do the same thing through just editing the thing >.<

What I want to say: Texture editing isn't special anymore when 5.2 is out-.-
Otherwise I am looking forward to it...

Could someone pass a link of last rev please?
Because I'm a real noob in computer and all this seems complicated to me ><
Or if not, could anyone make a tutorial to explain how do I do?
Thank you in advance.

1) No, only noobs give links to compiled .exe's
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Download TortoiseSVN and make a checkout: "http://nsmb-editor.googlecode.com/svn/trunk"
3) Download visual studio
4) Click BUILD
5) The 5.2 is in the nsmb-editor/NSMBe4/bin/debug/NSMBe5.exe

PS: Please post questions like this in the questions thread instead

Good luck and have fun
