A few things I've been doing. Some may lag a bit on slower computers. Beep boop.


Those things are actually two separate enemies. While filling the screen with random showers of bullets from their tails, they'll try to slice their target with the spinning blade on it's tip. Of course even though they are fast and with high firepower, they have a very low defense and a few blaster shots will be enough to destroy them.


Tripe giant lazors + two secondary smaller ones. Designed to be a separate weapon. It'll aim you with it's giant lasers slowly, while you'll have to deal with the arms. The arms also give it more movement.


A spin off of the first version of the starfish family. If you ever played danmaku shooters this will be pretty easy, and if not probably it will as well.


Easy to avoid blast of destruction. The weak point is either the cannon itself or the rear plates. Destroying the cannon only leaves the ship unnarmed however. Will fix that.


You are supposed to attack the head before it crushes you. Try not to be behind it.


0² from Kirby64. I originally wanted to make it for danmakufu but for some reason that won't work in this computer... Unlike the other one this will work properly, as in firing the bullets and lasers towards you. While lacking attack from the rear (not at all) it sometimes boosts with a relatively high speed that will crash you if you are there, as well as the plates having high defense/regenerators/repairs/recover. For some reason destroying the main weaponry doesn't destroy the core, I have to fix that.
(I know it doesn't really look that much like 0², but there's not much you can do...)


My lastest one. Some sort of mix of the starfish X and the other spin off. It also has lasers as well. Trying to take down the vulcans is useless, you have to aim for the lasers/bullets first and then the plate. Then take down a few joints to be able to do decent damage to the core.

Gungnir Assault Cruiser

One of the two main cruisers of the Kelos army, the Gungnir is considerably more destructive than its somewhat dated counterpart the Ragnarok (not uploaded yet), more compact than Zephis' Seraphim Battlecruiser, and more controlled than Zephis' Phantasm Rotorcraft (also not uploaded yet). However, it does have some weak points, notably a lack of any fighter bays.

The UMO Smelting Unit
This modified piece of mining equipment uses its triple lasers to converge on one point to bore through rock. Retrofitted for battle, the Smelter has been outfitted with multiple weapons installments and batteries for defense. The burners in the rear are always online, for it is always producing noxious by-products that must be burned clean.

ALSO: Updated the Triad.

New version of Fraxy is out.

What's New:
New Part - Gravity Field (does exactly what you expect it would do)
New parts options - Show Flag (-1 = hidden, 0 = normal, 1 = shadow; if set to -1 or 1, all weapons fire passes through the part, and so does your ship, but it can still fire/etc)

The ghostly vessel sails past you (or through you) before vanishing in a ball of fire. But where are the rest of its weapons? There they are!



The Ghost Squid has powered up and is out of control! Defeat it!


Ghost Squid II
Each of its tentacles have been enhanced with an eerie glow that ensures almost complete invincibility to stunning weaponry. The body is now equipped with a blaster for close-range combat.



What? What's this? Release me at once!

This is more of an experimental craft. Upon spawing, it traps you in a box lined with weaponry that follows your movements (somewhat). Can you survive the barrage long enough to escape from your prison? And yes, I know it's possible to ghost yourself out, but where's the fun in that?



Edit: And almost forgot this one!

Death Trap
It might not look like much, but this thing packs a powerful and continuous gravity well, making it difficult to avoid. Be thankful it doesn't move too fast.

Edit2: No replies? Well, I made a discovery about the newest update some might have overlooked. The latest version includes eternal actions for blades and burners. So, with that in mind, I bring you two new ships!


Heavy Mole
This thing acts a bit differently than it did in Kirby's Adventure. No long constrained to the underground tunnels, this thing will try to ram you at high speeds, and blast you with energy balls if you get behind it.



Disco Inferno
Made this after the discovery of eternal burners. This thing will shoot flames and disco lights everywhich way, trying to stop you in the name of boogie. Try not to get too close, or you'll get roasted on the dance floor.


Also note that my ship Meteor has been updated to make it more meteor-like.

Edit: There's a new Fraxy update! It's really just a bugfix of the other version, though. Anyway, I made a new ship!


Ring of Fire
Why is it called Ring of Fire you ask?

We'll call this one the Orine Labs update. These are my experimental ships, where I toy around with various ideas.


XP1 Scorpion
Developed by famed weapon researcher Orine Labs, the XP1 Scorpion was originally made under contract from Zephis, as a research and mining-capable ship. Its multiple flexible arms were designed to be able to bore into asteroids, to either retrieve a sample of the rock or begin mining. Zephis eventually developed their own mining unit, however, so project head Thalis Finarth decided to turn their research toward a warship. Its sweeping tail laser has proven very effective in the hands of the Silverleaf Syndicate, unfortunately, and its other weapons are quite dangerous as well.
Developed to experiment with joints.


XP2 Violet Devil
Another ship developed by Orine Labs, this one by Jake Orine himself. The Violet Devil was always made as a millitary craft, and is effectively invincible if its multiple repair units aren't disabled. However, you cannot directly attack the phase-shifted repair units, you must find the repair control unit before you can do any reasonable harm to the central core.
Developed to experiment with vital weak points. Keep in mind that the Blaster is almost essential, as the Bullet will have a hard time hitting the small "repair control unit". I won't tell you where any of that stuff is, though - the animations will give it away.


OF-A Agrona
Developed under contract from the Silverleaf Syndicate, an infamous criminal organization, the OF-A Agrona is an excellent hit-and-run craft, capable of very precise strikes and very high speeds. However, dealings with criminals frequently go poorly, and the Silverleaves attempted to take the ships without paying the agreed-upon amount. This ended messily, and the ships are now available only to Orine Labs employees and galactic police squads, the latter modified with stun bullets replacing the central guns.

Anyway, new ship. I give you... the Zeta mk III!


Zeta mk III
A super upgrade of my first ship, the Zeta mk I. The Beldum fighters from the second version have been replaced with two laser satellites, which the Zeta controls through electromagnetic tethers. Other notable features include stronger lasers and more powerful flamethrowers. Aside from that, only minor design flaws were adressed, especially asymmetry.
