How do you make the Lazers a different color?

And how in the world can you get little ships on the boss to be like seperate fighters? I never could figure it out.

There's a file called config.exe in the Fraxy folder, it lets you change all sorts of stuff. There's a whole section devoted to changing bullet colors/etc

You can use Detachment Joints to launch individual pieces (the fighter must have its own core) or a Deploy Core, which simply explodes and releases whatever is attached to it.


You can set the timing (at the bottom, use negative numbers) to change when they deploy. For a refernce, check out the enclosed instruction book Winder Hawk, specifically its detachment joints.

A spin-off from the Rotorkannon series, the much stronger Crosskannon features increased defense and stronger but less frequent firepower.

Based largely on the Crosskannon's chassis, the Swastikannon is optimized for sweeping motions, also gaining homing lasers, though at the expense of some firepower. Also a tribute to the first boss from the Gradius Gaiden bossrush.

CP251 Leafen Orbitkannons AYG

The Russian government, with the help of German weapons industry Leafen AG, designed a weapon station designed to enforce perimeters. The four orbiting lasers form a square, confining any stray ships inside, where the center armaments will surely make short work of them.

I thought up a unique visual effect using plates and an initial-direction plate, but I haven't actually found a use for it yet.

TF-01 Twinform Carrier

(NOTE: You must have FRAXY v.20070902 in order to fight this ship, as it includes a few new parts!)

A true marvel of engineering, the TF-01 is capable of gracefully transforming between a small, compact cruiser mode and a large, fully-armed battle mode. In cruiser mode, the ship has two cargo bays, each of which can hold up to two small drone ships and one nuclear reactor (the ship's power source). In full battle mode, the cargo bays are transformed into arm-like structures, each one equipped with a powerful laser. The drone ships are attached to the arm segments, and can be launched at will once the transformation is complete. (Unfortunately, this also exposes the reactor cores, which are easily damaged by standard laser fire.)

Recommended course of action: take out the four drones first, and then focus on the carrier. You'll probably want to eliminate the large lasers first, otherwise you'll have very few opportunities to get up close and personal with the main core at the front of the ship. Keep your thrust activated at all times, especially at higher ranks, and don't get caught in a death hug by those massive arms!

Inspired by Madman's Spin+++, I made a "simpler" variant... uses fewer parts, but that doesn't make it easier.

War Drone "Lunatic Spiral"
Developed by the millitary of Kelos Prime, the Lunatic Spiral war drone is made for wanton destruction. Durable and heavily armed, its fire is so unfocused it must be sent into a battle alone. However, that is not much of a drawback; it carries a lethal array of Cross Vulcans, Twin Vulcans, and Plasma Rings, and the only thing keeping Kelos Prime from using more of them is expense and the risk of harming civillians. Mobility is another concern, but its rotating arms make it easy to carry and drop onto a battlefield by using a large bomber craft.

Based off the unreleased weapon system, "Spinray", this destroyer has improved back defense, and a major weapons upgrade. A fighter on the tail is deployed when the target is sighted, this fighter can usually quickly take out the target with rams, or by using it's lasers. The Spinray MKII isn't as fast as the original, but is still very quick, and can escape from battle if it needs to.

It is called the spinray due to it's multiple pieces of rotating armour.

Umojan Militia Faction
UMO Omega Canon Defense Satellite

It's a big canon.
It'll fuck you up.

Anywho, the Umojans are my faction. A group of militant geniuses. Most of their equipment is for asteroid mining, but has been altered for defense and combat, while some of their weaponry is completely unmodified.


Umojan Dragoon Perimeter Defense Unit Mk. I

The Dragoon is a highly maneuverable unit with lots of attack power. It's dual lasers ensure it doesn't get butt-fucked.


Umojan Triskelkosmus Mining Station

This unmodified mining unit is primarily used for boring deep into asteroids with its three arms. These arms are, for the most part, indestructible, since they do need to be durable. The hull itself is pretty sturdy, too.

It's tough at first glance, but...


UMO Oxidizer Mining Unit

This asteroid miner has been almost totally unmodified. It pollutes space with the toxic waste it burns from its nuclear fuel cells. Really, the picture explains it all. The drills are super tough, so it'd be easier to go after the arms themselves.
