Yes, it's undeniable, it seems now as though healing units pulse with light instead of a constant glow. Makes my Ghost Squids look more menacing. :3


Though I still have no idea what Parts-Regeneration does. I know Parts-Recovery shortens the part's Stun Recovery Time, and Parts-Repair heals the part's Durability, but I have no idea what "control-Regen energy" could mean. Does it increase the effeciency of the other healing parts?

Maybe it causes attack parts to attack faster or so?
If the guy who makes this takes e-mails and one of us know how to access, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and ask, would it?

Maybe the enemies have an energy regeneration the same way as our ship does (except for tanker), so those would act somewhat as the blue powerup...?

But then I don't see the use of the parts repair...

Translator, of course. Either we use a english --> japanese translator and send it in, or we send it in and he uses a english --> japanese translator, once he guesses which language it's in.

I think we'd know if the ships auto-healed. It would be near-impossible to destroy ships that moved a lot. And I know it can't be the time it takes to fire again, because that's controlled by the universal frame number.

Anyway, two new ships.



Pathwinder
This simple ships leaves a constant stream of energy behind it. At higher ranks the stream becomes more deadly.


Shedder
I couldn't think of a good name for this one. This hasty ship will fire its entire arsenal at you without second thought. It's quick to resort to its last line of defense.

I'll edit this post with actual ships later, when I fix them (both actual problems and having no creativity/lazyness). Until then enjoy seeing Kirby destroying massive warships and explode.

After a bit of a dry spell, I made another ship!


Zoomer
Not related to the Metroid creature of the same name. It basically charges at you and launches rays of energy from the large panels sticking out in front. It also fires homing lasers.


Edit: This ship was inspired while writing the description for the above ship.


Laser Rain
Over sixty homing lasers ensure a constant barrage of lasers. Enjoy.

Peardian that "ripway" site is really unreliable, you should find a new place to upload the .fed files. I can't seem to download the Laser Rain enemy at all and half the time I try to save the other files it tries to save them as .htm files.

As for the .htm thing, I think that's a browser issue. You have to make sure the .fed stays intact.

That doesn't really make sense though because 50% of the time it recognizes the link fine, so I'm thinking maybe the server you're hosting this stuff on is, uh, being weird.

Care to specify which ones? I just tested a bunch in Safari and they all saved as .fed files. Again, it could be your browser or something.

Zeta mk IV
Depending on your style, this may be harder or easier to beat than mk III. The laser satellites have been replaced with nine orbiting panels, and all the armor has been beefed up. Plus, a total of five new weapons have been added, and the Power Ball launchers were replaced with Homing Lasers. Oh, and now it really heals.

Well, someone could always make a site for this or something.

Anyways, that ship is awesome. Though at higher ranks it seems to change its movement pattern a bit... I didn't notice the plate that pops up while I was in front of the core with the shield, so it killed me. XD

On another note, I don't seem to be able to use neither missile cores, parts detach or suicide devices properly... I wanted to make this ship carrying several of small missiles that self destruct after a few seconds, but it just explodes and withouth the purple wave thing the tank should have. =/

Yeah, if an explosive tank selfdestructs, there's not death blast.

Because if there was, I would have already made a ship based on it.



And the shield plate is rather devious, is it not? :3

I'm no pro, but couldn't you stick a detach, a brick, and an explosive tank in that order? The detach would blow the brick up, and the explosive tank would be detached from a regular part, creating illusion. But hey, I'm not a pro, so would it even work. (Suicide points to no.)
