I tend to avoid using walktroughs or similar for the main quest and usually clear it myself. But when the optional shit comes around then i am all over the walktroughs to see how to do it. I also use walktroughs to attempt absolutely perfect playtroughs the second time around.

If it's an RPG, I tend to prefer an Action battle system (not turn based battles are generally fun).

A good plot can help, but something with a decent system and lots of stuff to do is fine.

I like games where I can be competiotive, but still end up LMAOing. LKike in SSB. It can be very competetitive, but then something frickin HILARIOUS happens, and I start too laugh so hard I accidentally walk of a cliff.

That's not what he means by nitpicker.

Games I like, varies on the music mostly. Better music = me being better at the game. If theres a game with terrible music for it, I always screw up, unless I mute my TV (but sometimes that's bad for most games)

That, and multiplayer is fun.

The actual story itself gets me hooked on Videogames. Take Ar Tonelico for example. A pretty decent RPG, the battles are easy; the bosses are somewhat retarded. But the storyline has me hooked on it. One dude being torn between two singers in all out epic battles against Viruses and random monsters? Im game for that.

As for the PS3, the only game im hooked on is Full Auto 2. Its very pretty to watch as you rewind in a race.

Oh yeah, and how could I forget Pump it up. I just love to dance.

You win already for playing Mr. Larpus FS.
Too bad the machine at the Magic Kingdom went bleh all of a sudden.

Yeah, that's one reason I can play Pump It Up. It has so much potential for having fun. Of course you can think of a cool FS to go to a song but when me and others play we do a lot more impovising than anything just for the hell of it. You can also play charts that are freaking insane, but you can also enjoy easier songs if you want.

Playing a game in many different ways is what makes it fun for me. When I don't have to play by the best strategies and aim to win, I enjoy the game more.

I also have the home version: Prex:3.

If you want I can host it, no installation or pad required.

But yeah, Mr. Larpus isn't the hardest song I can do. The Absolute best I can do would have to be Duex on Nightnmare without the bar.

Like, I can do 2 Skulls, but not 3 or anything higher than 36KL's. When it comes to Crazy mode, Dignity Crazy Full version.

Or you can have some fun with Witch Doctor if you want. XD

Already have a few PC versions of Pump.

One skull for me. I could do harder but eh, don't like wearing myself out.
Although Witch Doctor CZ is made of win and the ending of the NM is awesome.

Then I also mod the hell out of songs too.

Are the modifications better than KIU?

If not, anything would be better than playing Black Cat with a Christmas Snoopy of the background.

When I mean mods I mean stuff like noteskins, NX and X mode, and speed mods on the arcade, not on simulators. (Example)

I don't do KIU much, if at all anymore. =\

KIU was the poor man's PIU. But those were the good old days if you ask me.

But yeah, NOW I see what you mean.

mm hmm as Cpu said.. improvision to the extreme in PIU. I like fun charts with a nice mix of slow stream/turning too. In other words, stuff that won't wear me out.

I can pass 7 skulls at most (Witch Doctor Nightmare) but I am sorta ehhhh about passing hard stuff. I rely very heavily on PA for passing that kind of stuff.

In noncompetitive gaming (usually RPG), I like good story lines and battle systems. Tales of Symphonia is still one of my favorite games to play simply because I like the story line + battle system.

In competetive gaming, I like simple easy to learn controls, but hard to learn (insert word I don't know) mechanics? Anyway, and replayability.
