EDIT: VirtualBox crashed my computer...

Also first BSOD under Vista. However, that was VirtualBox's fault, so it doesn't really count. Back to using VMWare, then!

I kind of like the Thief in Disgaea 2.

I don't know why. It isn't the stats that I'm pleased with (other classes top it for sure) but I love the design of the character I guess.

Yeah my layout will remain like this for a while.

I need to stop changing it so often.

I never beat the first one. In fact Disgaea 2 was the first NIS game I picked up and I am still playing the first save I made from it. If it were Disgaea 1 I'd have probably stopped at maybe 125 hours. My D2 save is at 180 at the moment and still going because I have a heck of a lot more to do. Right now it is resident gathering. Then again the farthest I played on Disgaea 1 is up to chapter 5 I think before my brother sold his PSP alongside Disgaea.

Alchemist residents on Rozalin's Megiddo Cannon are awesome as long as she doesn't end up killing the enemy instead...

Also I found Disgaea 2, brand new copy, for $30. Wow. I thought it'd be hard to find used at this point...

i guess if the story lines are independent of one another, then I could conceivably play the 2nd before the 1st. There is something inside me that wants to play things in chronological order. This is why many games don't seem to ever finish or have yet to be played even though I bought it (like Xenosaga 3)

There is only a slight connection between the first and second Disgaea in the main storyline, mostly involving anything BUT the storyline of the first one. From what I do know from the first Disgaea, they don't mention anything from the plot of the first one... least as far as I can remember.

I wouldn't want to work for a diabolical scientist even if they forced me to. If I worked for Dr. Wily, I would have to go against Mega Man or whoever was the protagonist and possibly die.

I also wouldn't want to be a main character, even with the benefits it has. I don't like having to work at all.
