I found a bunch of images from a Geocities-era theme for the boards. I don't think I have the scheme file for it, but rest assured there was no lack of obnoxiously large "hot" and "new" graphics (for the thread list)

I recently readded the bio I had from years ago to my bio and the quote at the bottom of it amuses me for a few reasons.

But the other quotes at the top are still very important, too.

So I posted about this on the Discord earlier but I thought I might as well mention it here since now there's more people here. I got a "new" CRT TV, which is actually not new at all but still it's something that I didn't have before.

The thing is...when switching it ON or OFF, it makes a square-wave sound that I thought sounded really neat and 8-bit-like. I was wondering if any person here has heard something similar, because this is honestly the first time I've ever seen something like this and I wasn't able to find any videos of it on YouTube.

Links are here and here in case the audio things don't display correctly.

Same thing to me; only some of the newer LCD's play a sound but it isn't as cool.

Of course, this is if you don't consider the annoying 'twing' noise which plays when turning on the big Sony CRT TV downstairs.

*twing* as in the sound the tube makes when it's degaussed?

Apparently it is a SAMSUNG CL-21Z43MQ and it was made in Brazil.

Hahaha. I last spoke with Shroomy about 5 years ago. I think he still works for Tumblr. Everytime you see any slash fan art, know that our dear Shroomy Luigi Man is keeping it safe.

Where did I come from? I followed the sea breeze though the front door I suppose. (Should make sure your door is breeze proof lol).

I've mentioned in another post how this was going to be the worst day on the week, and this was due to an exam I wasn't really looking forward to.

And as usual, it didn't actually go that way. I'd say it was generally a painless experience, and general feel of the exam wasn't "oh god oh god oh god"-fest.

I keep thinking the worst of some exams even though they usually don't go that way thankfully.

Oh well. One done, one to go.

Ah, right, I forgot he went to work there after a bunch of attempts at selling shirts and other things.

five years is a long time. didn’t they get bought by Yahoo! in that time span? i wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of ppl got laid off since then. oh well, consistent jobs are good to have either way.
