It was only 50 bucks with a two year contract and I was already paying for Sprint for internet connection ($60/month) so I'll cancel that and pay $64/month for unlimited internet + phone.

You might not like it, Anya... but you would quickly understand WHY layering is necessary in the winter.

I remember elementary school... wearing snowpants *AND* pants *AND* longjohns.

I remember waiting for the school bus in the bitter cold to go to school. Having to bundle up in coat, gloves, hat, boots, scarf...

Winter involves so many more clothes than summer does.

At least I didn't wear those snowsuits some kids do that have the jacket AND pants all built in.

Those must be a pain in the ass to get on/take off.

If they're so thick, why layer then?

Earthquake in Puerto Rico about 30 minutes ago ... It scared the shit out of me, it was 5.4 of magnitude and very close to where I live. Local phone companies are down, nobody can place a call

Yeah, everyone's alright. It was pretty scary but nothing terrible happened. Besides local phone companies being down, the city where it happened experienced a blackout.

Good, I'm really glad to hear nothing terrible happened. That would've been a friggin' sucky Christmas. =(

Posting on my blackberry is so slow. I think an android phone will be my next one.

The iPhone is pretty quick, but it's definately an android for my next one. I'm hoping to get the HTC Legend, but that runs about £500.

Oh god, that's horrible! My Galaxy S only cost me $50 USD thanks to a Christmas offer (unless you mean it costs that unlocked? Mine's with a 2 year contract)

I got my Palm Centro for free on a 2-year contract... Okay, it was two weeks before Palm announced it was ending Palm OS forever, but still, that's a deal!

I don't even remember how much my blackberry cost. I know I traded my old phone in and I had a discount since I've been with Sprint for so long.

I've been with Sprint (Broadband) for a year and I've regretted it all ... horrible signal strength where I live and even at 60-80% I get crappy download speeds
