I'm fairly good at math

Except a few things that are comparatively basic but that I suck at. Like, I'm pretty bad at factoring quadratics that have a coefficient for x² that isn't 1. I just use the quadratic formula instead

And I got through 3 semesters of calculus, linear algebra, and prob and stats without knowing how to factor a lot of quadratics

My Grade 11 math class was a roller-coaster. Either I got the concept right away (meaning awesome test marks) or I didn't (meaning crappy test marks). It all averaged out, but yeesh.

Ugh, I just found out that even if I get a perfect score on my public speaking final, I cannot raise my grade from a B to an A Stupid public speaking, ruined my 4.0 average

While one friend of mine has a grand mal seizure, the other has back problems which aren't getting better, and then while that goes on my Calculus class (and the whole three classes I have taken) are pretty much rendered wasted time.

It's a wonderful life, isn't it?

I had an old friend of mine have a couple seizures right in front of me. It was amazing how much my mind blanked when they occurred. I felt like an ass just...not knowing what to do.

The second time wasn't as bad because I was able to do something, but...still...that's sorta creepy.

Someone that I worked with had a seizure while at work. It was like my second day of that job.

Hey, a high 3 is good too!

I was irritated at my first English class for killing my average... but I wasn't too upset for long. As long as you put in your most and do reasonably well, you shouldn't have any issue.

Besides, it's not like you did worse on a class that's supposed to be really easy - I'd probably have gotten a C in such a class, because I turn into a bundle of nerves in front of a crowd unless I'm part of a group.

I guess you're right, I didn't expect to keep a 4.0 average throughout college, anyway There are bound to be classes (like this evil one) where I just won't be able to get an A.

I had a very high GPA for a long time through college, then got some worse grades during my last few semesters, so it went from like 3.81 to 3.69 pretty quickly.

I maintained a relatively good GPA of well over 3.2 throughout college. I don't remember what my final GPA is at UMaine, but it's definitely over 3.3 for sure.

3.341 is my final UMaine GPA!

I'm pretty proud of that honestly.

My GPA was actually quite good in high school, I graduated with a 4.0 average, the highest of the entire graduating class.

I think there were several people in my school with 4.0 GPAs but DIDN'T have the highest grade in the class. Those belonged to the AP students.

Of course, cheated in a way to the bottom of the top 10% with art classes instead of calculus, stats, and other such classes the other 19 or so students above me took.

I remember I was 16th in my class in high school but not much else. I don't care much anyway, my high school was crap aside from nice faculty.

I had a 4.0 GPA in 11th grade before they decided to try and put me back to 9th grade. Long story short, Clark County School District did not want to honor my homeschooling credits for 9th grade and lost my half a year of credits from 10th grade in Oklahoma and made the assumption I didn't have them. After a mess with the school board, my dad got them to concede... I could test out for my credits at $60 a credit... I got my GED instead.

I just finished a 6-hour reading session for my last final, which is ridiculously extensive. And I'm still not done and the test is in one hour

I had a school experience vaguely similar to Orlandu's.

Not homeschooling, but I skipped 4th grade in the Buffalo area, then moved to Michigan partway through 5th grade. I completed 5th grade, then we switched school districts and they wanted me to take 5th grade again despite my having had all A's

So otherwise I could have graduated in 2004 at age 16.
