Well I've been on the site for a while and I've avoided this forum as though it were a cloud of mustard gas, but I've decided to give this a go. Don't expect anything big from me, I almost never complete anything I start.

Hello. I'm Hax911. Call me Hax. I am really good at m64 level making (or so I think) but I'm having some texture issues. I tried dividing the area but it still won't work. I need help.
Any how, Hello

Hi Everyone. I've been reading the forums for a couple days now. I finally got around to playing with TT64 and the ROM extender some. It looks like awesome stuff. I've been playing Mario 64 for half of my life now, and can't wait to explore the possibilities with this tool.

By day I do C# .Net development to pay the bills. For a hobby I'd love to do something that's actually fun with my hodge podge of programming skills, which is why I got into programming in the first place.

I'd love to have a place to pick people's brains about how best to use TT64 and hopefully this forum is it. I'll try not to do anything too noobish and get my self ridiculed.

Hello, Everyone

My name is tretztr. My grammar is an fail because im german. Im still learning English because it is an great Language. Im watching the SM64 Hacking Forum since 2008 and now i registered myself here. Why i didn't registered before here? I didn't wanted to because if i do only ONE false thing then i get banned, After that i said to myself: "Just read the rules, follow them and then i will not have any problems here."
And im currently working on an SM64 Hack.

~tretztr - Your truly friend -

PS: Metal_Man88 if this reply breaks an Rule or something like that then please correct me. Also sorry for my bad english, but not everyone is perfect

Do not worry. I do not ban people for their first violation. Or their second. Or even sometimes their third. Merely worrying about rules means it is unlikely you will ever be banned. Just leave the warnings to me.

Edit: Said person was a reregger who just doesn't get it. Whoops! Well, they're gone now.

Hello everyone!

I am dVan, a hardcore musician and gamer who has recently turned to attempting a sm64 hack.
I tend to work in secrecy, so I most likely won't post much here, apart from anything major.

Anyways, yeah, hello everyone!

Hello folks. I'm glad that I joined this forum to learn from others and to help. I'm looking forward to showing some of my work when I learn the ropes of hacking, mainly it'll be Super Mario 64. I'm also a fan of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and will gladly illustrate my projects. I had one going but something went wrong with the main computer and everything was lost.

Since I have my own computer now I can finally do what I want without limitations. LOL honestly this forum had the easiest registration process I've ever seen.

I registered on this site after reading the Mario 64 Level Importer thread, but I never introduced myself afterwards. My name is Joe, and "dsx9069" is also my Youtube username. I first went into SM64 hacking just as a user of TT64 and Mesiaen's level importer, but in the past week I've made more of an effort to understand the hex data and ASM coded functions behind model and behavior data. Everyone here on the SM64 forums has helped me to design better levels and to make better..."object" choices.

I tend to ask a lot of questions in one sitting in an attempt to not overflood threads, which is also probably why my posts include "EDIT3" and such.

I'm currently putting off level design until I obtain something close to a mastery of many of the decomposed geometry layout and behavior scripts. I will look through the forums here and the docs in one of MM88's threads before I ask somebody to teach me everything there is to know about SM64 hacking. While having a background in ASM coding is great for hacking SM64, I believe that experience + trial and error can overcome "coding deficiency".

Anyway thanks for having me on the forums!

Hey, there! My name is Dark Squid, but, if you want you can call me D.S. (or Squid, or anything you want, I suppose xD) Anyway, I'm relatively new to SM64 hacking, or any type of hacking for that matter. I'm still learning about editing textures, trajectories, etc. and all that advance stuff (advance for me, at least xD), but I know how to make my own levels, and although it may not include as much hacks as messiaen's "SM64 The Missing Stars" or other neat hacks, I might make my own hacked ROM, but it'll probably only replace levels. Idk, but, for now it's just a dream. Anyway, I'm glad to have found this site so I can get help for this kind of stuff, and I will truly try to follow the rules and be a good newbie.

Hi everyone. I'm an artist with no knowledge about hacking who wishes to learn how to make his all-times favorite platformer to look a bit more artistic. I found about Jul by googling SM64 stuff and then decided to try and contribute . I hope this is not too late.

No, the forum remains, as do I. Some of the hackers have retired but the data is still here.
