Mostly because my mother and I were supposed to be moved in by today, except it might be next month that we move in.

I blame her working too damned much (she considered going into work today to "make up lost time" from when I was ill earlier this week.)

I've only moved once since high school and it was from Pennsylvania to where I'm living now. I think the more things you have, the more annoying moving can get. I didn't have many things (just a lot of games), but my mother had enough stuff to fill 60% of a 17' U-Haul truck, lol.

I hate moving. One time we had to move because we were being evicted and we moved everything in 24 hours with no sleep.

Changing roommates, better deals on housing, etc.

I averaged somewhere between 1 and 2 moves a year until I moved out at 17. Since then I have moved exactly once. I've had my current address now for over 6 year, which is by far a personal record.

It's nice not being uprooted every several months. Although, it really seems like time goes by a lot faster when you're staying in one place and doing the same things.

I moved a lot...born in Osaka, moved to Hawaii when I was 4, back to Kansai when I was 5...America when I was 15 or so, back to Japan a year later (and proceeded to go back and forth for a few more years), got relocated to Shibuya a bit before my 17th birthday for protection after dad was killed, got let off that same year, back to Oyamazaki with mom, moved back to America to finish high school, and again within America. Except I hate where I live now and can't wait to move again. Even though I hate moving. Irony (Actually I just don't care for the living arrangements, I wouldn't mind living elsewhere within this area)
