Wow, cpuhacka, that's really nice! Certainly makes my shadow effects (simply just drawn on) look extremely rookie-like.

On an sort-of-unrelated note, does this mean your hack is still on?

I worked a bit more, and got some smooth vertex shading on the grass. Also, I threw in a crystal I made a while ago. A good preview:

Basically, any link from there will over time vanish and be replaced with random other pictures, thus it is in your own interest that that site is blocked.

Hi everyone here on the JUL forums. this is Mr. Unknown and his team here to tell you about our project, which is Super Mario 64 - Memory Lane.

Storyline:
After Mario had won back in 1996, everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom were free of Bowser's evil plan inside
Princess ToadsTool's castle; In 2001, Mario saved Delfino Plaza and brought back peace to the islander's by restoring all of the scattered shine sprites; All of these things Mario has done has really paid off and all, but there is new trouble. As of 2004, Bowser invaded Peach's castle once more but was defeated by Mario and his fellow pals, Luigi, Wario, & Yoshi. After the disappearance of King Bowser, a few months later, chaos randomly crashed everywhere in the Mushroom Kingdom, but the destruction has been going on since 1985! The strange thing is that it hasn't and something strange was going on.. The next day, Mario was sent to speak with ToadsWorth. He explained the cause of this but to fix it, Mario would have to access a Realm of time (Formally known as The Realm of Time). When a few hours pass, Yoshi was sent to steal Kamek's wand and return it to Mario.. as ToadsWorth found the spell in his library to access the realm, The toad held the wand in his hand and teleported Mario to the Realm of Time.

.Mario and Luigi now have a new adventure and will investigate the blast from the past.
.Mario and Luigi must retrieve all the power stars in Realm-96 and Retro-Realm to defeat Bowser and end his treacherous plot.

The amount of stars this hack will consist of:
The amount of stars will depend on how many levels we finish with.

Content:
-The hack will contain two playable characters: Mario & Luigi
-This hack will be one player(s) only
-Possible custom hud arrangements
-Custom behavior's (Including Mario & Luigi)
-Assembly and Dis-Assembly (MIPS, ect.)
-Retro Style graphics and 1996 level styles

A-lot much more will be told soon

Level model with 20,000 faces working at full speed, 64mb rom. With around 40 textures it can handle 16,000.



I will be uploading a branch of the importer some time which allows this.

Very interesting too, Skelux. It's hard to distinguish what that is because I can barely see it with the same texture.

It is not supposed to be pretty, It is just evidence of what I have done. The first Star Road 2 preview will feature a level with around 16,000 faces and 40 textures. I will have a branch of the importer finished some time after this.

Hey, I haven't posted in a long time here. But I just wanted to show some work I been doing.

I been wanting to get some shading working. Setting it up was not from using a tool except for a hex editor. I even had to use the rainbow Mario fix command. Yet, there is an issue with the back faces. They keep showing now, like instead of seeing through the wall from behind a face, you can see them. Not so sure what command to add, or maybe I need to edit some.

So here is a area without shading (But I think I had the RGB shadings turned on):

If the images are too big and unacceptable, please tell me... I didn't know how to re size them.

Edit: Oh and yeah, cpuHacka101 did RGB shadings also, as you can see in the other page. xD

Looks good for a beginner, darthsidusfan. Although I do suggest you don't use the circle tool, it creates lag in-game. Instead, set the polygon tool to somewhere in between 10 and 20 sides and use that.

Important news regarding Super Luigi 64

Due to a lack of support and as I have lost interest in it, Super Luigi 64 has been cancelled.

This however, doesn't mean I've lost interest in SM64 hacking.
I am planning another full hack "Super Paper Mario 64", Paper Mario inside SM64's engine.

For news on this, stay tuned to my channel and of course, these SM64 forums.
