That's bowser stage 1, folks. The stage is complete, the battle arena hasn't been started yet...

As you can probably tell I don't make my stages in order. That's just not how it works

Wow, Eggs, you clearly managed to recreate Skillux's old Bowser stage (excluding the additional details). Keep up the work fine, buddy!

Skilllux, I was just planning for it to be a temporary background, but thanks anyway!

Mariocrash, it was just going to be a level theme but I got a bit carried away. Thanks

Say, while you're all here... should my boss fight be Bowser, or not? (tell me what your suggestions are if not)

Oh and btw, here's the title screen (final?):

By pausing the emulator and taking a shot with Fraps.

I meant the camera angles. How did you get it to stay still so you could take it?

You just have to turn the normal cam into fixed cam mode (from the pause menu screen) by holding the R button with the upper C button.

SM64 Grand Star - Preview 7

This time I am showing you a side level I made for my upcoming hack Super Mario 64 - Grand Star. I am putting just as much effort into side levels as any main level. Since the Preview of the First Overworld I have made this, the final Bowser Course, and have nearly finished a Remake of the Vanish Cap Course and Bob-Omb City. I have also tried making some Model Imports & Replacements, which will make the Hack look even better.

That description you put in sounds like one of Skelux's...

Anyway, nice level. Will certainly be keeping an eye on this

Skilllux, I design my levels with the pencil, then use the Push-Pull tool (if it's got hills, the pencil tool and the move tool).

It's pretty basic stuff but they come out alright in the end.

If you don't quite get where I'm coming from, read this (from the Sandy Slide Secret preview):

Since Bob-omb Battle Factory I have made this, the second boss (which is not bowser ), and have nearly finished the 11th main level. I have started trying to blend classic SM64 level style with my free-roam style levels, and the result it quite nice.

v.s. yours. See the resemblance?

Anyway it's no biggie, just wanted to point it out

Hey guys. It's been a while since I posted anything here. Today I had some fun messing around with vertex data, and added some cool lighting effects. Here's a screenshot:

Perhaps I could add some good shading effects to other levels? It sure makes maps look less dull.
