| I thought I just make a new post for the story as its hell to create a trailer for it; Mario passed away from a head injury after an unknown incident. It is 1000 years into the future and Mario gets resurected with the mind of the player controlling him. As Mario you must save the Toads of the future from an unknown evil and work out how Mario got his head injury and (optionally) put a stop to it by going back in time. The hack is story driven so expect lots of twists. |

| I don't know what lead me to think of it, I just had it in my head since day one that it would be cool to have a dramatic diecision in the game and found that it can really only be possible towards the end of the game, thats when I thought around it with the future story. Anyway I'm thinking of adding Galaxy elements in the game such as the 3 life system (insted of 8) and the fact that you dont get hurt when you fall. But more or less the falling bit as thiers alot of falling in this hack. In other news I get 12 weeks off on Friday and with nothing better on my hands I probabily going to put in alot of my time on this hack. |

Yea keep in mind it won't be a fusion between Ocarina in Time, Back to the Future and 1.21 Jigawatts, although that would be intresting.![]() Anyway keeping on topic I got level that I'm still judging whether I should add it to my hack or not, why don't I just lay it down on you guys and see what you think . |

| Sounds like a plan to me, Vinny! I would love to test out anything that you need tested. I'm still working on really making a hack myself, but I'm more in a tutorial phase right now, for I barely know anything about hacking. Anytime you need anything, I'm sure that plenty of people will be willing to test it out for you! From only being on this forum for a few days, I can easily see that there are plenty of nice people on here, who will be willing to help at anytime! |

This is the level that I am wodering if I should put in this hack, since this is a direct rip I don't know if I should or should not use it as it can be seen as stealling to some people. If all you here think it is ok then I most likely will not mind using it . |

Aren't people still doing SMB 1-1 in Super Mario World, New! Super Mario Bros and every platform game around that can be hacked ? I am generally opposed to porting 3D levels (especially from non-Mario games), but in my opinion that's one that actually fits, if you find good textures and do a creative enemy placement. |

| I admire your level designing skills. And your trailer making skills. But don't you think that level'll be a little overused if everyone uses it? The only reason I aren't gonna use it is because everyone else will. -------------------- IOS, WAD, DOL and ELF -- I hate them all. |

You could maybe think of it as a starter level for people who aren't great at level designing yet, but would love to see how a custom level handles in Toad's Tool. Considering all the possible warp locations (pool, top of mountain, volcano) I'm sure someone might make use of it. |

Hey Chanver, do you think you could design a sample level for the next version of the importer ? If you are willing to, I will think about the 'specs'. My idea is to make a tutorial so people can learn how to deal with the usage of the importer. I will give a play at your level, maybe it could be expanded for that purpose. |

| That would depend on your definition of a sample level. Do you want me to push the boundaries and try to make an over-the-top map? Or would you prefer something simple? Or perhaps is it anything I want to make? Also, if you want anything specific (for example, a castle) I could also use that information. |

MY boss battles will be here, I am hoping to create my own textures for this as SM64 does not really have any textures that will go well with this level. no enemys yet but you will race Koppa the quick around the arena, and find red coins. The ring itself will be protected by an invisible barror with the only way to get in by going though a star door. Dispite what the video says Bowser may not be the main boss in my hack (I'm hoping that that spot is reserved for another charactor) |

| WWE? In my Mario? I dunno man. If you can pull it off, that would be an interesting twist, obviously. But, the ring is way too small for both Mario and any of the bosses (Edit: No actually the bullies and King Bob-Omb would fit. Just don't try putting King Whomp in there that'd be bad). Also in order to complete that "arena" feel you're gonna need to find a way to throw in a sort of "applause" sound effect, otherwise it's just gonna feel empty and awkward. Also you're gonna want to add stands and throw some motionless Goomba and Koopa models into the seats to get the feeling right. So, yeah if you really want to make this feel like a WWE match you've got some work ahead of you. I don't mean to sound cruel, cause from what I've read here people rarely give out criticism so I dunno if I sound harsh or what, but I'm just letting you know what I think you need to add and stuff. If you want your hack to be crazy successful you gotta think of small things like that. -------------------- ![]() |

| Like I said before, I got 12 weeks doing nothing proper but stuff including this hack on my computer after Friday, this will give me plenty of time to give that level an arena feel to it. This level like my other levels will get updated, this is not my final design. My Big City level has already changed so much that I was dieciding to feature it as one of my best levels. Plus I played tooo many Mario game to know of a work around for the size of the ring, it's the arena that I was really wanting to show off. The applause might be tricky but I'm sure I can create an audence feel by expermenting with messiaen music importer once it comes out. Anyway I like criticism as then I know where to go from here, I would not want to show off my levels as they are now just so people can say "oh wow that is amazing he made a cube, don't feel like a level but oh well". After all, what would be the point of me putting the levels on youtube anyway . |
