Yeah, I agree. I've taken a rocket for a sentry because if we gave that position up the game would have probably have been lost. Ubers are sort of a funny thing, because for the most part people run away from them, but as soon as it looks like the uber is about to wear off EVERYONE jumps on the medic like he's Daffy Duck during Duck Season.

Pretty much, unless it was an actual decent Uber, in which case everyone's dead.

Something to be feared: dual Uber + Kritz. Lawnmower!

Those are so few and far between that I'm HONORED to be killed by a kritz + uber. That's like...ubering a spy rare.

Another thing with spies is that they like to kill snipers in 2fort, right outside the resupply room.

Just generally spray anything that moves

Uber + Kritz was farmed once by a particularly annoying soldier+medic+soldier+medic combo in a 2fort match a (long) while ago... not fun to deal with.

Also, I'm on an "uber Scout" achievement server... in Spectator (all of my achievements are legit), it's just crazy to see these. This one in particular is full of memes

To me, 2fort is just like warm up for other maps. I don't even really care about getting the intel anymore.

I only go for the intel if I'm a scout, I follow a group of people, or I'm attemping to play as an offensive Siper and I'm with a group.

I prefer slipping behind the enemy usingt the sewers as Pyro and coming at them from behind with the Backburner. They never see it coming!

I'll go for the intel as anything if nobody else on our team is available to grab it; after all, as soon as it's in a more open area that isn't a pain to get to, you have an advantage. (Assuming some people on your team are bright enough cookies to defend, otherwise the other team can easily sneak in a capture while you're not looking.)

Of course I prefer Scouts grab it, and I'll take it if I'm a 300un speed class if we have no Scouts, but even in the worst case (paying as a heavy) I'll still take it assuming nobody else is there.

Addendum to the Spy Checking 101: A Spy on your team that has a Disguise is one of your spies, period (enemy spies can't fake disgusises). Conversely, any spy without a disguise is that much more likely to be a spy.

Oh cool, I looked at the Pyro update on TF2's site and I didn't realize that the backburner is the second item you unlock. That means I just need one more achievement then and I've got a few I'm tracking that I'm close to.

I'm at 19 pyro achievements so I'll be getting the axtinguisher soon. Yay. I guess I should try out a few other classes sometime, but I'm getting so good at pyro.
