That does look pretty awesome. And in regards to the other links above, the hats sound interesting if they're planning on making them not just cosmetic. Also, glad to see a sniper update is coming, since I'm getting pretty decent with sniper.

A helmet that stops headshots would be great but it would have to have a pretty severe downside to balance, like a movement speed decrease.

Is there an update today? Steam is trying to update TF2 for me and in my dorm room it's obviously not going to work well...

EDIT: Seems like there is, and it's causing a lot of people's games to crash according to steam's forums: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=851808

It did, but they put out another update that fixed the crash issue. I still have no fucking clue what it did.

Whatever the case it doesn't look like I'll be playing anytime soon since it's got to update before I can rejoin you guys. I hate this sort of bullshit where if they put out an update you MUST download or you suddenly can't play the game you spent money on.

Well I guess for a game like TF2 it does, seeing as it's a fully online game. I don't know, I'm just annoyed because I'm wasn't planning to go sit in starbucks again just to get this thing downloaded, but otherwise I'll have to wait a week until I go home again and have fast internet. :|

And yet Steam can't download it while on campus. That means I'd have to walk 20 minutes to starbucks, spend $4 for 2 hours of their wifi for like, 5 minutes, then spend 20 minutes walking back.

Hmm, there's a Panera Bread close to campus that has free wifi, maybe I could try there later...
