Any ideas? I'm experimenting with the 0x0E command right now, to see if it has any effect. It seems like it controls the collision sphere around the object (In other words, unrelated to my problem ^^'')


When importing with frauber's importer, offset the Y position so the bottom of the model is at 0 on the Y axis. You can figure out the exact offset by positioning an object at the bottom of the model in TT64 then negating it.

I appreciate all help I've gotten, and I'm almost done with a new level, containing two custom objects:

A pipe and a fan (both use clockwork gear behaviors to make them spin)
These objects use 3 textures together.

However, as soon I enter the distance where the game renders these objects the main level disappears. I've figured out that the problem lies within the textures and not the behaviors, 5 textures seem to be the max allowed number for the main level model. Unfortunately I need at least 7 textures to make my level look decent.

I know you warn the user in your importer to use few textures, but is there any way to solve this?
Is removing an object the only solution?

Hey there,

how do i give a Goomba with the behaviour of a red buddy bomb another animation? Cause at the moment, if he got this "addressable" behaviour, he is lying face down on the ground. I heard something about using Gameshark codes to solve this, but tbh i dont have a clue how to use this. I would appreciate it, if someone could give me a step by step tutorial, which program to download and which steps to do.

Hello !
im looking for someone to help me .
im trying to remove Lakitu from the intro of sm64 like in this video





im making a short movie where someone travel from a video game to another one and this time its sm64
and i really need to get rid of this flying guy so i can put someone else instead with Adobe After Effect
i v tried many thing specially with tt64 but i was only able to rotate lakitu over is own position .
iv looked over the forum for 4 days , tryied alot of gameshark code
but still i can't make it disapear or moving it somewhere else , or making it invisible or idk .
im really stuck here so if you got 5 minutes to waste ..
it would be cool of you to spend them with me ^^

Please edit your post next time instead of double posting.

Also, Tile Molester will corrupt your game's textures. Look around the forum, I forget where but we've mentioned the proper replacement for it for modifying SM64's textures.

Hello,

I am pretty new to SM64 hack and I would like to know something that I didnt find on the forum or in TT64.
didn't read all the 71 pages on this thread because, well 71 pages...

Would like to know if it is possible to add a locked camera for some zones like in Hauted House when you enter almost anydoor the camera is lock in a spot until you open another door or when you first enter peach's castle, the camera never move but only mario.

I did a small room with GoogleSketchup and it look nice and all but without this kind of camera it is ugly like probably most of you experimented once when creating stuff like this.

Is there is a way to make that or I should change my room desing for something else?

I was jǎmning around that Toad's Tool does not have sky and water texture seriously but you can use objectal texture by downloading RGB Editor. I saw that few textures seen diaeresizable to me...we will have to need help seriously to find texture for sky and water in RGB, such as green skies and green water. If you found link of downloads and videos for sky and water background, please post me.

EDIT= Oh lol. The cannon is opened in my save.

Can anyone help me? I have set a closed cannon in my level, but the cannon is always open. I have put a opening bob-omb in the level, he speaks normally but doesn't do anything of course.
I hope anyone knows how to "close" the cannon.

if you talk to a pink bob omb, that opens cannons, all cannons are openned in that levle, even if you put new cannons after that
so if you make a new game, the cannon would be closed again

Ah please help. Since I have replaced Tall Tall Mountain and replacing some music (sequence 26 and 34) i have no sound in levels and no sound in Mario-Head screen (but music). I have only sound in castle (inside/outside).
Can anyone help me?
