Did anyone have tried importing a custom level into a sub-section stage (e.g. Jolly Roger Bay ship; Cool, Cool Mountain slide, etc...)? Just wondering if it's possible.

I noticed in the collision settings that you can set up the textures a special action for a sub-section to appear. Apparently, I'm not sure these collision warp effects would affect the gameplay to crash or rather cause corruption.

How do I add the Beta red-shells to Toadstool 64? I read the forum about Beta shells but it did not help me! A VIDEO

There is something to do with format in this.

You open the Obj. importer and there is a section for music of the area. You can add/change music and instrument sets.

The format that the music goes by to install is .m64 files, which I don't quite know how to do properly myself. Maybe messiaen can help.

You must do it with a system that creates music into a formatted file, namely .mp3. With that you must find a utensil that will change the .mp3 file into .m64 and use the ObjImporter to import the music file.

I suggest Mixcraft.

I think there is no tool for mp3 to m64 xD but you can download the original midi and remix it like you want.

So another big issue on my mod.

I made a snow level as you can see below:



After importing and made it up to the game, looks decent, fine, no errors. Until I find some infestious invisible walls blocking every edge of the stage. I sure do switch the death floor on, but nonetheless, same result is causing.

Issue: upon trying to use Peach (via a cheat) everything goes smoothly until her majesty begins to walk... her dress starts to flip out (on the bottom for the most part). I realize that since Peach is not meant to be played with in the first place therefore the makers of the game did not even need to put in animations for the actions I am trying to get her to do. At this point I would just like to be able for her to walk smoothly (without her dress glitching out badly) and be able to go [at the very least] browse around the castle (inside and out).

Finally my question: What can I do [if any thing] to make look better when she walks (so her dress does not look like it is trying to fly off of her)?

MarioCrash64, if the death floor won't work, I'm afraid you will have to modify your stage in Google Sketchup. Make a square quite some way below the course, use a completely transparent texture on it, and set it's collision to Death Floor.

@Eggs, Skillux: I'm not really sure if this works or rather apply the bottom death floor collision would make the walls gone.

EDIT: Yes, it works! But again, another screwed up issue for the stage. Invisible walls make a comeback, blocking the path to the village, the lethal ice platform and the pond shelter.

Sheesh, couldn't they cut me a break? Guess I got to remove a few platforms.
