| Okay the mario rom extender says this message: Error calling command line utils, make sure your account has sufficient permissions to use command line programs. Make sure to run this from it's original folder. I do the original folder part and I looked up the updatestage.com and so far it looks like it doesn't exist, could you guys help me k thnx |

You cannot move it unless you edit the original level geometry, as VL-Tone said. Once the PPF patch is applied, Bob Omb's Battlefield is completely replaced by Flatworld. So, there's no levitating island anymore. ![]() |

| I was scolling through an untouched extend Rom in Tile molester, and Believe I found an unused Lakutia texture. It's just above the eyes at 00A36ABB and is also just above the Good Lakutia eyes. It's a smiley face that resembles the cloud faces you see in other Mario titles. Is there any way it could be activated? |

There are a few things wrong here.
First off, you are editing at the wrong offset. Secondly, it seems Tile Molester has set all of the gray area to be opaque. I don't know if Tile Molester has any functions to edit the alpha channel. Third and most importantly, Tile Molester has serious bugs in all 16, 24, and 32 bit color modes. Do not use Tile Molester. Textures do not appear in the editor the same way they appear in-game, and editing or importing can cause corruption. Let's take a look at the first image you posted. ![]() Notice the strange blue/yellow haze around the original hand image, and how your replacement has no such haze. Now let's look at your replacement hand icon in the game. ![]() There's the haze again, with the colors reversed. These are the most visible effects of the bugs. However, non-texture data can be corrupted, so do not use Tile Molester. (If anyone is interested in a more detailed/technical explanation, PM me.) -------------------- |
