| I don't think that particular video is particularly representative of how Sonic plays. You'll note how much of the time he spends dodging back and forth 3/4 of the level away from Link, or trying to repeatedly 3D dodge, getting hit, or failing to do any kind of recovery, or getting items purely to throw them off the side of the level, or...
Seriously, he hits Link 7 times in the video. One of which is using the final smash to knock him back onto the level. As for Mother 3... Virtual Console is unlikely in the foreseeable future. They haven't said anything about releasing GB games on it, much less GBA ones. |

That was fun to watch. I'm really liking Samus/Zero Suit Samus now. ZSS's pistol whip has great range. It reminded me of Simon Belmont for a moment. Plus that Zero Laser was rather sweet to see in action. ____________________

| Amusingly enough, I just watched a (cheated) video today of a Captain Falcon + Ganondorf team doing the home run contest in Melee.
I'm mainly happy to see the shield around the platform thing. Too many times I accidentally barely knocked Sandbag off the platform to get a 0.0 distance. Hey, Sandbag looks quite a bit more detailed than in Melee, too. |

| I like the shield idea. I hope the shield extends to the top though and not just the sides. Also, loving the multiplayer idea.

Allow me to rephrase, seeing how you apparently missed the purpose of my message. "It appears that the character of Sandbag, now that we have good pictures of it, can be clearly seen to have been updated in the visual department compared to Melee, considering how not only can you clearly see the straps at the top, but stitching is clearly visible on both the top and bottom rather than the blurry gray lines of Melee's design, which on the whole looked remarkably like a marshmallow rather than a punching bag." Better? tl;dr apparently they're using time mode now for home run contest rather than stock, seeing how there's no life indicator. |
