Randomly. I'm not saying they take Marth out of the game. I'm saying they put in a 1:3 chance (or something) that you play it and find Roy where Marth was last game.

Similar to how Classic works now. Or how Melee's Adventure mode level 1 is if you don't know about the correct time for Luigi.

Of course, what S&T said kinda killed that one. Oh well.

I wonder how big the characters would be to download... I also wonder why the save file is about 8 megabytes. (128 blocks)

Character unlocks, stage unlocks, SSE progress, music unlocks, records.

Oh, most importantly, daily content downloads.

If they did include Roy and Mewtwo in SSE, they'd have to go through the massive hassle of including new segments of the plot with new videos. And, depending on how early or late they appear in the story, they might even have to make alternate versions for each subsequent video.


Then again, there is that mysterious month delay when we know most of the Englishness has already been done, so it's possible they maybe included a bonus level or something.

Marth is 14.9MB in total in the ISO. That's less then a N64 ROM, so I can see downloadable characters easily coming in to play.

Con 2: I doubt it... unless they kill Wii Shop Channel I mean, maybe in 5 years, when the next console's out, but until then...

Con 3: SD cards... Just swap out, maybe they could have three downloadable char slots at a time, copy the extras to an SD card when they're not being used.

Also, has everyone forgot about customizable control schemes? Or are the default ones just better?

Unless you actually delete the save file, I don't think that's a huge issue. Unless you're seriously that late to try (and fail) to download them the first time.

I think that would only apply to Japan, seeing as how he mentioned nothing of downloadable content for anybody else.


Plus, there's a chance they might make a Brawl 1.1 with Roy and Mewtwo coded in just for convenience. Or something.

For number 1, use the Nintendo usb Wi-Fi adapter for your computer and leave it on over night.

For number 2, the same could be said for Microsoft if they died and someone wanted to play Halo 3 in the future and couldn't download some map packs.

Number 3, couldn't they like also release an update disk for those who don't have internet?

1. Very few games are glitch free, so I don't see the point of getting mad over a single glitch.
2. This could be fixed for all of the later releases, as there have been glitch fixes from the Japanese version of a game to the American version before.
3. You just can't try everything possible to try to find glitches. These people are only human. :/

So, I'm not in any way concerned or mad about this. I can't see this happening during normal play often, so it won't really affect me.
