While I was walking around outside, I suddenly had this idea that I should draw Kuchipatchi onto some white canvas shoes and then wear them everywhere until they look beat up. They will look so fucking-goshdarn awesome.

You know that feeling in your mouth the day after you eat way too many sweet-tarts (or similar candy)?

Wonder why double-sided jewel cases tend to be hard to find... need them for some games

At least I've got plenty of slim jewel cases and regular ones

I think at least we can say it's what the Craziness Domain would have wanted.

I think it was Postcounts "Π―" Us then.

Ah, early 2010, when Bitmap was extremely active and TCRF was really small and we were fending off Nikolaj and jceggbert5. It feels like so long ago now.

I was looking through some old threads earlier today, and I kinda miss how some people tried to hold some game tournaments here at Jul.

Too bad most of them were highly unsuccessful...

I got nail polish on my iBook G4 and now I'm suddenly wondering if I can stylishly splatter polish all over my keyboard. I'm thinking I can paint drops on keys used by the same fingers and stuff and it'll have it color-coded by finger. It'd be so cool.

Maybe there's a better way to do this? Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I remember early 2010. I was so shy to post around here and wouldn't post outside The Cutting Room Floor for a while. I was just scared I was going to get cliqued out.

Obviously, this was not the case.

Has anyone else ever been tempted to just, upon having a rewrite assignment due, just to hand in the same thing and claim it's updated? (I've heard stories about people doing such, but somehow I doubt their veracity. )

I did that all the time. Fuck rewriting. That's for, like, lame people and authors.

I hate when people do that in my classes, but oh well, it's their grade. If they don't care enough to do a good job, then I don't either. *Shrug*

I also have gotten together with this kid twice who is immensely late on his persuasive essay. Not only have I told him how to get started, he's also blown it off and keeps searching for info on his topic of THQ being the best video game by querying 'which video game company is the best'. I mean, the kid's in middle school, granted, but...I dunno. It just doesn't make a lot of sense. e_e

I made slight changes and did so. Often did this too when we were made to write multiple drafts. I'd fix something if I caught it, but anything beyond two just seemed... kinda excessive, at least to me.

I don't remember ever having to write more than 2 drafts.

However, I do remember very often being graded on the planning phase of writing. Like, we might have to write down multiple possible topics and circle one. Often I knew exactly what I wanted to write about and I had to put down fake topics for that.

Also, there are different ways to plan out your ideas before writing. I prefer to write down my ideas in a list, preferably on the computer so I can easily move things around if I want. My school preferred that we use a "web", which is basically words in circles connected by lines going in every direction in a way that always really confused me. And I'd be graded deown for not using the school's preferred organizational technique even if it didn't work for me.

I was about to type "a lot, man, a lot" but then all of a sudden I noticed an ant walking around on the kitchen and I freaked out so I retreated to the bedroom and grabbed a tissue and picked it up and then tossed it into the toilet and then went over the kitchen floor with a moist Swiffer and then moved my laundry basket to the bedroom and now I'm walking around in slippers. I hate bugs so much. They make me want to cry.

I hate crawling bugs with a passion, although most flying bugs don't bother me nearly as much. Except bees, because I'm afraid of getting stung.

But crawling bugs are a lot creepier to me. You can't just shoo them away, they'll always be lurking somewhere to crawl back out and freak me out again.
