I suck at ASM, but I think it keeps calling itself as a subroutine, putting the origin address on the stack until the stack fills up.

On a 6502, that's an infinite loop that overwrites everything from $0100 to $01FF. On a 65C816, that's an infinite loop that overwrites everything from $000000 to $00FFFF.

Neither CPU checks for a stack overflow, so it won't crash unless an interrupt occurs and expects sane data in those areas of RAM.

Ah. So the stack pointer just loops around after the stack fills?

I'm installing (virtual) Windows XP on my laptop as a last resort to getting that stupid nintendo wifi usb connector to work.

I'm going to punch someone if this doesn't work.

Yea... 32-bit drivers do not work on 64-bit Windows (learned this the hard way when I tried to get an old printer to work on Windows 7 64-bit)

I'm scheduled to have class this afternoon... but I got e-mails from professors saying the classes started on next Tuesday or next Friday (probably a typo in that case since the class doesn't meet Friday)... but they didn't outright say "don't bother coming on Thursday" so I don't know whether I should bother going or not.

Well, the problem was that I had eaten most of it, so it was just a small speck that went down the wrong pipe, causing me to be able to breathe normally, but still could not stop coughing for a while.

Oh, that I'm too familiar with that.

I hate it even more when it feels stuck.

I've had that happen so much, that I generally instinctively start coughing horridly after finishing a meal, so as to help ensure any remaining bits like that leave my windpipes.

Water going down the wrong pipe always does me in.

And the solution, ironically enough? DRINK WATER.
