What throws me off is Final Fantasy X-2. Why not X-II or even 10-2? With the mixing of number systems, I want to say "Final Fantasy Ecks Two"

Actually, if you ask me, FF X-2 should have been FF XI, and the real FF11 should have been just like "Final Fantasy Online" instead of numbering an MMORPG as part of a single-player RPG series

7, since it started with 10.0 and they're now at 10.6 (by .1 increments) ... I wouldn't be surprised to see 10.10 eventually at that rate Then again, it's a bit like Windows's service packs (even comes more often), but with bigger updates and separate releases ...


Final Fantasy X-2 couldn't quite be XI since it's a sequel and kept some of the same characters (each game in the series is a separate universe), but FF11 really should have been Final Fantasy Online ... especially now that FF14 will be online too, and could have been Final Fantasy Online 2

Maybe FFX-2 could have been some subtitled thing, like with Final Fantasy IV: The After

Is it a rule that the FF games can't be connected? I'd rather have FF10 and FF11 connected than a numbered MMORPG
