Oh yeah, dongles, I kinda forget about them. I'm looking to get an LG V20, which is supposed to have a pretty good DAC and a headphone jack, just so I don't have to deal with them. Or the Motorola Moto G Play that I'm currently burdened with, which in some respects (including not making my wrists hurt) is worse than the $51 Aristo 2 Plus I had before it. Personally, I have my earbuds in nearly constantly, to the point I forget I have them in, so it'd be worth it -- not that the V20 isn't higher spec than the phone I have right now and has a smaller screen, meaning I won't strain my wrists just to pull open the pull-down bar.

I mean, I also have an iPod, and I should really be using that for various reasons, but the battery's died and it's a 7th gen, the one where if you take the back case off, it'll damage it permanently. I'll need to steel my nerves for that one... and order a deeper case for a deeper battery.

True, anyone could, and nobody could stop the person who did.

I've been wanting to make "A Conservative Form of English" for a while now, where the joke is that it's 17th century English without any pronouns in any form, including indefinite pronouns like each and either, or demonstrative pronouns like this or that. It also brings back letters like thorn, eth, ash, and yogh. It'd be a fun exercize.

i used to tell people it was pronounced "kai", then i tried being funny and saying "there's no official pronunciation" for a while, nowadays i just say "kaj" like vag... like vagina? yeah. like vagina.

also it means "and" in esperanto
