Didn't sleep last night because of worries about girlfriend.

Played Skyrim all night.

Oh wow, Sonic Generations 3DS looks.. pretty terrible.. all sidescrolling, modern Sonic looks like he plays pretty stiffly, and they gave classic Sonic a homing attack? What the hell? Plus the animations for modern Sonic don't look too good, either.

Probably less development resources needed since a Wii port would likely have required more trickery than a shrunk-down 3DS version.

More trickery? Hardly. They already have the Colors engine, which is already uses basically the same setup as Generations. (It just doesn't slap baked lighting and normal maps on EVERYTHING.) I think they just chose the 3DS because it's 3D.

I'm thinking of getting a Game Boy Pocket so I can get the full vintage gaming experience in all of its black-and-white portability. I know, I know, you're all, "Sofi, if you want the full vintage gaming experience, you should be getting the original Game Boy, the one with the pea soup monochrome for your four shades of gray!" but how can you say no to the smaller, cuter design of the Pocket? Of course you can't.

Was planning on going to the auto wrecker today.

Hm, when I can't put it on the farthest end, my cell-phone charger takes up *three* outlets on my power strip... somehow, I do not think this is the best design.

It's really wide, plus the cord comes out of the same side that the width is maximized... it really is more like two and a half, but it's not like I can really get much use from half an outlet.

The school doubled the length of their mandatory student surveys for each class.


...by basically duplicating the questions. Oh and it always warns you that it's incomplete if you try to submit it, regardless of completion amount.

This sounds vaguely familiar, for some reason.

So, I might be doing a third year at the college which screwed me over twice in an effort to unscrew their screw-up by about 2 years.

Which means that next year, I have to somehow find 2 more AS-Levels (creating a grand total of me doing 7 AS-Levels and 4 A-Levels, even though universities only actually look at 3 ffs) and hope to god they don't clash. So I'm definitely going to take Maths (even though everyone doing it is telling me to run fast and run far) and my Ethics teacher is saying that she might get a way for me to do a third year of Ethics & Philosophy, which would be awesome.

But one thing I should never do is take Psychology. The entire class failed last year. Though, IIRC, the teacher disappeared 6 weeks from the exams and they all still had loads to learn.
