I've played around with the editor and made a level. the only bad thing about this editor is that you have to conform to the locations of enemies in the parts of the levels the are located in. also, you cannot move the star coin things..I'll wait till the next version to make another level....

If you read the description, this will be fixed in an upcoming version, or you can move them yourself which is completely possible to do.

yeah, but that requires hex editing, and I've learned over my years of hacking SMW that I SUCK at editing hex manually >.>

Not if you learn how... i's just getting coordinates and converting them to hex. It was simple. I learned how to do it myself. That's how sonic and I were able to recreate SMB1 1-1 exactly.

I learned how to effectively edit hex in a night. It takes literally no time to learn.

Maybe you just need a faster processor. I have NO$GBA Version 2.4B, and It runs very smoothly, with the exception of the world map.

the world map has killer lag, probably due to all of the level exits and tiles it has to load.

Make sure to set the speed to Double. The map will still lag but gameplay will be great if it did lag before.

Even for me, it runs at 60% for the world map, and 100% for normal gameplay.
What I do is set it to high priority in Windows, and make sure that absolutely nothing is running.

The drag support/enemy support alone makes this release the best so far! And the GFX mode is looking good, at least it's loading SOMETHING (Hey, ground filling tiles work!)

EDIT: The whole "refresh when dragging" thing is kind of annoying though, but makes for a much easy edit.

Ground filling tiles don't actually work, they just do because of a workaround I added and forgot to remove.

I just realized something-
You can have backgrounds and foreground mismatched.
Like having the giant mushroom tileset with the cave bg

where?

also, there's a small bug in 2.1 that I need to fix, so do remember this if you encounter it:
dragging enemies won't save their new position, you must open the dialog (even if you don't change anything) and click OK to save it to the ROM. It will be fixed in 2.2
