Bill and Ted and Monty Python (never saw Short Circuit, so I wouldn't know) are awesome movies. Why on earth would they need to make a remake?
Furthermore, they're attempting to make it more "hip". Making something "hip" nowadays seems to mean removing all its humor and replacing it with rap/pop music (aka the worst music ever made). Humor is one of the things that make a movie stand out as a good movie; rap is music, and terrible music on that note, thereby making a movie stand out as a bad movie.

| Yoshi I can understand. Toad, yeah that was retarded. He was okay before they turned him into a goomba with a harmonica (WTF?!), but even then he was pretty annoying. Then again, he also acted like he was constantly high which you gotta admit, that's what the mushroom kingdom is really about |
