well, it depends. i like using the [img] tag because it automatically makes sure the image fits the width of the post box, so it's pretty obvious when someone is using <img> instead.

sometimes i wonder if there would be any good use for implementing markdown, cause i like using tags like []() for links, but there'd still be need for BBCode what with quotes and all (unless we used > somehow), so there's no need to muck things up with a third markup language to run the posts through
