| I doubt this thread will go anywhere, but this game is awesome! It has elements from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, but while a hacky, paid-by-the-click game """journo""" would stop there, I'd keep going to say that that's really not accurate. It's kind of unique, but the best fusion I could come up with would be a card based hero fighter mixed with the structure of PMD, the combat field from Quest 64, and a little bit of main series Pokémon for the overworld segments. Obviously, it's a mobile game, so it has some of that progression in there (you have to do small errands and accumulate a parts list in order to upgrade your bots, of which you have a team of six), but it's a lot higher quality than most mobile games. You can tell Featherlight was out to make an actual game here. I'm currently pretty early on, in the middle of doing the Great Desert chapter. It's a little annoying how many enemies there are, but it's still good, just... occasionally tedious if you're trying to cram missions in. If you're doing it properly and just playing missions in couple-minute pauses, it's amazing. And the graphics look nice while still running well on a really low end phone, too. Though if yours has a notch (as mine unfortunately does), it'll windowbox to fill in that notch, sometimes leading to (as on my phone) a situation where one side of the screen has rounded edges and the other has square ones. It might be a little jarring, but I guess I prefer that over not being able to see an enemy hiding behind the notch. ____________________ ![]() |
