I'm finding I keep a lot of these now over the years so I'm curious where everyone is.
I've been all over the place for them in the last fifteen years, from cheapos I bought as a that are somewhat decent to a set of buds keep on hand now which I'll go into that are much more expensive. I've got some that have busted, some I've retired and some I've even given away. I'm just going to go over the most used ones on my list that I still have. >>> Sony WH-1000XM3 - The most common pair I use for the desktop now. Can be used either in BT form (most common) or wired with pretty much top-notch noise-cancel. Retired my Sennheiser RS 185's when they finally gave way, which were originally meant to be used on a TV, but I modified the RCA plug to work with 1/8", for better or worse. Sennheiser HD 598SR - Semi-retired for the desktop and the general wired pair I keep on hand. Used for most overhead wired when needed, especially on desktop when I need lagless or better quality sound (namely, StepMania or similar music-related things). Replaced a pair of Sony MDRV6 that I kept and even redid the earpads on until I gave it away to a friend of mine and replaced them for these. Ironically, I was given two as a mistake by Amazon - I asked for a pair on sale for my birthday many years ago, so the second set was gifted to the person that bought them for my birthday (my mother). Sony WF-1000XM4 - The response to "Not having Apple AirPods at the office" and being singularly impressed enough by the overhead version of these. As mentioned above, I did get into it somewhat with the Mpow's and, while not being bad for 22 bucks at the time of me buying it, weren't really doing a whole lot for me in terms of portability. These pretty much hit the mark on everything for convenience and use time. Only problem being they're about 10x more expensive for said convenience. Probably the least used in all of the headphones I use at this point due to the niche they serve. >>> Aside on the bucket list is a pair of W5000's because of the one time I got to use them back when I worked RadioShack 15 years ago when they were halfway worth a shit (until they swapped CEOs from a piece of shit that lied through his teeth to get to their spot to one of the worst in existence). Just to blare some ultra high-def opera in it or something. Just to say I did. To be fair, they're down in price since the last time I checked. Or I could just get a pair of Grados that are even more stupid-expensive that do essentially the same thing. But that's after I inherit a cool mill or something with the kind of money to burn just because. ____________________ |

These?
Kinda look comparable to the V6's I had except looks like it's mixed BT/wired. AKG's not a bad brand either.
