I really enjoyed it! Coming up with strategies to jump, stomp, and slide your way through enemies is super satisfying. Rabbids never bothered me, so I enjoyed their antics and the Rabbid-hybrid characters. My only complaint is that the ending is very abrupt and doesn't resolve the story.

I got the Donkey Kong DLC for my birthday back when it was released, but I still have yet to play it. I hope to go through it before the sequel arrives.

I liked your speech there, do you think that this is a tough game? i do, and i really like tough games.

I'd say it's pretty good, difficulty wise. I didn't win every time, but losing didn't feel unfair. The additional challenges are definitely tough, and I don't think I even beat all of them.

I genuinely want to play this game, but the Rabbids are such a huge turn-off to me that I can't really stomach it.

Mario X-COM as a concept hugely appeals to me (what with the hundreds of hours I've spent in similar games) but I just....can't get past the Rabbids.

If it helps at all, the Rabbids are a lot more toned down in this game than in their own games. There's not much "random screaming" humor besides the opening cutscene and some ignorable background scenes. The Rabbid partners have their own distinct personalities while the enemy Rabbids are all (relatively) serious and quiet. If you dislike the Rabbids' usual loud and chaotic antics, I think you'll find this game's humor to be tolerable.

Plus, most of the game is spent shooting Rabbids, so there's that.
