i like fancy old computer keyboards that have a million function keys
i... had no idea diagonal function keys were a thing

unfortunately videos like this can't communicate the most important part of owning a keyboard, which is the kinesthetic/tactile sense. they fucking need to invent feel-o-vision already

(wait i'm admin do i fall under mods idk fuck)

But yeah, recent mechanical convert here. I used to swear by membrane boards (and don't mind them to this day, honestly, if they're decent ones), but... ended up "stuck" on a BlackWidow with MX Blues.

...I don't know if I could go back as my primary keyboard, honestly. The clicking and feel are super nice.
(I just wish my Z key had the same click to it, it feels more like a red switch for some reason...)

i got a corsair k70 with mx blues a couple years ago. it's probably the best-feeling keyboard i've ever owned, but i have a sneaking suspicion that MX switches aren't really for me. that or these keycaps aren't for me. i'm not sure which. i don't know enough about MKs to know which. :V

all i know is that my brother's keyboard feels better than mine...

anyways this keyboard doesn't have RGB, but it is backlit, which is nice. i kinda wanna get a RGB TKL next time around, though...

also this keyboard is dirty and i can't clean it because i don't have a spare to use on me. help

Equipment:

I kinda want to get myself a mechanical keyboard without a function key row, but most of them sacrifice the tilde (~) and the bracket([]) keys, which are necessary for the Russian layout.

Also, I have no idea how people live without the number row.

Erm... I have a German Apple Extended Keyboard II for my Mac IIci...? Uses Alps switches, I know that much - those "Alps SKCM Cream Damped" as they say on Deskthority, I think?

...yeah, I'm honestly not much of a keyboard person, tho mechanical ones are nice for sure. I too have a Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000 on my main PC, which maybe doesn't feel great (especially since mine's quite worn by now...), but I like the form factor/layout as well and some of the extra keys have become kinda essential for me, including the calculator key, weirdly enough.

the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
