I hoped it wouldn't happen so soon, but I.. had a feeling.

something about him just felt so different from basically anyone else on tv,
and he made jeopardy feel distinct from any other game show I've seen in the last,
I guess decade or so. most shows in general, even

I do hope that whoever they find to take his place can carry the show on in a similar
manner, even if I have my doubts. I'm begging to be proven wrong, though...

you will be missed. rip. ;-;

He was truly an icon, kind and lovable to the very end.


With his passing being so close to Sean Connery's, I can't help but think of SNL's classic Celebrity Jeopardy skits. Will Ferrell's impersonation of Trebek was so entertaining yet respectful. Even the real Trebek loved those skits.
