currently rocking this on w7 x64, works really good for a dev build tbh

i also suspect it's managed to patch in the old plugin model into ff60 since it seems to be built off the ff60-esr branch, while there are .xpi's for the inbuilt irc and calendar stuff which couldnt be ported to webext afaik

seamonkey itself is basically what existed after mozilla application suite split into ff/thunderbird and given since the past 3-4 years mozilla pretty much gave seamonkey a big 'fuck you' because ff was by that point completlely copying chrome (losing power users and gaining no one else because all the normies love chrome) in the process, they ended up stranded for the most part

the fact this is built off 60esr's source makes me wonder if it would be an extremely feasible browser for today's use in terms of the non-mainstream internet user

so worth checking out

i'm actually still a Big Fan of Firefox Quantum (because unlike old Australis-based Firefox it's actually fast and sleek) but I probably would have switched to Pale Moon by now if they added a few features into the browser I really want, such as hiding extensions in a sub menu or easily hiding custom buttons with a right-click menu option.

i also may try out Waterfox too once that hits Quantum, as well. (also are there any screenshots of the seamonkey dev builds?)

Recently moved from Chrome to Firefox. For some strange inexplicable reason.

Any browser that basically works is good enough for me.

Shame about the Chrome monopolisation then to the extent many newer devs ignore FF :/

Most of the people around me either use Chrome or Opera and yes, FF being sidelined. Doubt any young people actually use Firefox

On top of that DDG is my main search engine. For some strange inexplicable reason.

Yeah, everyone who is pretty much below the age of about 20 and was around at least a short time before the Internet became mainstream in about 2012 is using Chrome.

My internet use is limited to that period or maybe slightly earlier but not earlier than 2010 but that is definitely not my age bracket.

Using Google and google related products gives me an itch that it might be because of me that Google will eventually take over the world hence my migration to Mozilla Firefox.
