Three nights ago (Dec. 23th -> Dec. 24th) I barely slept because I was too busy watching a Doki Doki Literature Club let's play, which lasted until 1AM. Suffice to say, I barely slept that day due to being creeped out by the game.
Two nights ago (Dec. 24th -> Dec. 25th), when I was about to fall asleep, I was starting to picture a certain place almost perfectly, almost as if I was there. It had a cube, sort of like a solved Rubik's 4x4 cube (though it may have been higher, like a 5x5), except its depth was only 1. Each square had something written on it on a crude handwriting, either a word or a number, though I don't remember exactly what they were. It was floating on top of the water in a place that looked like a hybrid between
Jade Jungle from Paper Mario and the
Dark Link fight in the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. I kinda want to re-create that place before I forget about it. It was really foggy, and the cube seemed really out of place, like it was used for testing something or for debugging.
Everything in the place had detailed colors, but this cube seemed really basic, using colors like the default ones in Paint. It was located against the northwestern corner of the room near an small patch of land in the water and I was looking directly at it, and behind me was a big island and in the middle of it a large tree. My brain wasn't able to imagine what was beyond the tree in time so I just saw the fog.
But I didn't fall asleep, so I had sleep paralysis. My eyes remained closed all the time, but I started to hear a voice right behind me. I don't remember what it said but I remember it was referencing DDLC and saying some unpleasant things, though not as disturbing as those in the game. It felt like I was both in reality and in the place I imagined in my dream at the same time, a sort of superposition of both, as if my brain couldn't decide where I was. I was stuck in a certain position, and trying to move just made an electric-like feel spread through my body which just made more tired. Maybe half of my brain started to craft a dream while the other half was still awake?
Thankfully all of it only lasted around a minute, and after that I snapped back into proper reality, but it was still very unpleasant.
Last night's dreams were normal, thankfully. Well, as normal as a dream can get but still, nothing noteworthy this time.
