Cute stuff! I love your cheery pastelly-bright colours, and you are very good at drawing fuzzy furry things.

Haha, interesting that often what we feel most self-conscious about is what other people pick up on in our art. It's only in more recent years I've been able to tone down the colours in my stuff, but now I am worried I go too far and they get too muddy.

i agree, i find it very interesting to see how artist vs. viewers see the art. i actually had drier colours to begin with, someone i knew described them as being very 'of the desert' which was fitting since i lived in arizona at the time. i would try to use brighter colours and felt like they got muddied out. your colours are very nice though, i peeked at your art but been to distracted to say much of anything. you have a very nice balance of poppy-colours with natural ones [:

Your colours are a good balance too. Like, they're bright, but there's a soft quality to it. It's not gaudy or anything, which is an easy trap to fall into with bright colour. I suppose that could be to do with your history of using more muted, drier colours? There's a warmth to your colours too, which I guess would make sense if you had a warmer, desert-like tendency?

thank you both! i was going to find examples of my older stuff to show you the colours but i couldnt find any good examples. xD; i used to try to pay attention to anime, game, and disney colours so thats where a lot of my inspiration comes from for that.

Very nice! I like the fluffy shapes of the hair and fur. I think my favorite ones are the ones for the Velkacis project.
