are you actually going to be able to stay awake for that long? i mean, i don't think I've ever been awake for 24 hours in my entire life...I just can't handle it. hopefully you make it through okay!

meanwhile I just woke up (well, two hours ago actually) and I'm here having to catch up with all the things that happened.

i've already listened to two entire videos of BrawlBRSTMs3 (which are mostly 30 minutes long VGMs).

Halian and Xkeeper got Reinfors syndrome but I assume you all talked about this in another thread - if yes i'll just find that thread (eventually) - if not then WHY HAVEN'T YOU MENTIONED it yet sorry for all caps

Very few times I managed to do that and it was quite the experience

I mean I probably could but I intentionally limit myself unless there are special occasions such as a certain party a couple years back.

Same. Two of the times I've done it is because sleeping would mean missing a trip to Disney World.

Wrapping around and catching your nth wind is a rather surreal experience. So is falling asleep at the bottom of a lamppost outside the Haunted Mansion.

GOOD NEWS: I finished writing the presentation 3 minutes before presenting and it was received really well!

Also I'm not feeling tired and hungry at all, more energetic and upbeat... hmmm...

I do have another presentation one tomorrow and my boyfriend is telling me people literally die if they stay awake for more than two days in a row ("have you not read how streamers die after trying a 76h stream") so I am actually going to heed his advice, get working, finish it ASAP and catch some z's in the meantime. It doesn't look like it's going to be too difficult I just need to get stuff done! yay!

Oh, thank goodness you're going to bed!! Yes, people do die from long periods without sleep.

I'm glad your presentation went well! Now rest!

I'M INVINCIBLE!

*has stayed up for week+ multiple times before*

I think it actually depends on what you do during the uptime, though.

But who would want to avoid sleep? Sleep is actually really nice. I could use more of it myself tbh.

I am very unsure if that is impressive in a good or a bad way, or if I should ask more.

I get weird enough after 24+ hours without sleep.

not that it happened to me. nope

My schedule when I went to school in the afternoon was to sleep at midnight and wake up at 10AM, not too far off.

I'm pratically hardwired to wake up at 6AM, so even if I want to sleep, I'm unable to until it goes back to being night again. This is why I take sleeping at the right times seriously, because if I don't it's simply going to be miserable.

I never said I didn't get weird during it. Just that I have done that multiple times.

Unfortunately I have a job that demands more energy now though, so I can't stay up.

I have, at most, stayed up for about 40 hours, and I get very silly. Everything becomes "hilarious" as my brain starts not functioning.

The last time I didn't sleep was when the baby was born. I managed to sleep a little the night before, but between the drama of the day, and the tiny baby I had, I couldn't get to sleep at all that night, and I even had trouble the night after.

Of course, I have now learned that something also happens to the mother's sleep cycles that helps them deal better with less sleep, so that's kind of cool.
