Damn

I only have a PS2 and a Dreamcast at present (though I do want to get a consolized Neo Geo, plus a supergun and stuff for TGM and Third Strike and various arcade classics and maybe even DDR — though the latter might just be accomplished with a StepMania cab for ease of maintenance)

you didn't hear this from me, but if you're looking to get TGM any time soonish i'd recommend slipping into the tetris reddit discord - a couple people there hoard boards for tgm1 and tap so they can sell them at far more reasonable prices than most places you'll find online. the showings at GDQ marathons the past few years has done nothing but drive the price up for them

it’s cool to collect TVs, tbh. i have three (one 2001 Sharp LCD, a larger Phillips one and a tiny Sony one). i have a friend who has like 15 of them tho, and they have several of the heavy Sony PVM broadcast monitors stacked on top of each other.

PVMs are awesome, i have a 14 inch one to play video games on through RGB and i love it

I only know I have 10 sub 34" LCDs, 8 large screen TFTs and Plasmas, about 10 BVM/PVM and another 25 CRTs ready for use.

OK, 3 of these CRTs are Sharp SF-1's with included Super Famicoms, and I got most of the TVs for free or very cheap (except the SF-1s of course.)

Some TVs
More TVs
and the flat ones

And yes, they are used regulary. For game parties with friends or at events and such.

CDs and notebooks. I don't even write anything in the notebooks, and I scarcely listen to the audio CDs I have, or ever use the CD-Rs I have, but damn, I just love having 'em.

... Really going to be a pain in the ass when I have to move and lug around a giant box of empty notebooks and CDs.

Of course. May not be apparent in the pics. But have 7 9" BVMs and 8 14" TVs of different make.

I may, um, know some people in the market for this? maybe I'll pass on the secrets (or try to get a TGM1 board myself)

Superguns seem really finnicky though, having helped EON and aperturegrillz with their setups before… and there's that weird framerate issue with TAP making capture difficult… ._.

Everything; I'm a hoarder. Apparently OCD can cause you to get emotionally attached to inanimate objects incredibly easy ("Oh, I've been holding this fire log for 10 seconds, and now I must keep it forever").

I guess the main thing would be CDs. I buy a lot of music, and I like getting the physical CD, even though I literally never take the CD out of the case and just listen to it digitally. Also, my steam library (I was going to embed that, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do expandable spoilers here).

Materials related to my interests in my native language, so I have most of the released Star Wars books in Czech (not interested now that so much stuff comes out, it was cooler when different companies had rights and it was a chaos and new stuff was rare) and also whatever connected to czech Pokémon, I have what i could get from guidebooks, audio CDs, VHS/DVD, etc.
Less focused anything connected to videogaming for our retrogaming museum/archive collection, the more obscure or once again specific to my country the better. We are a small group of mostly still students, so it's not as amazing of a collection as other museums/archives, but we already have some pretty nice things. And working on completing a collection of all Czech gaming magazines.
When I was younger, I was really into collecting Lego, especially Star Wars and Bionicle. And also public transport tickets We had cool designs and they changed often. I get into a collector mode really easily, so I have to always be aware if this is something I want to pursue. Generally I get off with just collecting information about the topic, instead of the physical things.

NES games, to a maybe slightly obsessive degree.

I'm waiting for Game #605 to come in the mail, so...
