i've made music since about 2009 or so, and some of my music made its way to a few indie games

last september after a year of on-and-off work i released The Space Adventures Of General Mibi:

The Space Adventures Of General Mibi is a space opera composed entirely for the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth soundfont as a tribute to 90s MIDI music

and i was in a bit of a slump ever since releasing that, until a couple of days ago i released this spacesynth track, space squirrel

anyway hi what do you think i love any kind of feedback on my stuff

lmao i love this goofy burger drawing avatar

The Space Adventures of General Mibi: I love it. A lot. It makes me want to sit down and play some (read: a bunch of [read: all the]) DOS games. My favorite track from the album is “The Voyage Home”, followed closely by “Fuzzy's World Of Miniature Space Golf”, though of course every track is good.

“Space Squirrel”: This also sounds like it could be from a DOS game and, whether intentional or not, I really like that about it — and a top-tier DOS game, to boot.

Burger drawing avatar: It is goofy, but in an endearing way. :3

I listened to a few of your albums, and I really liked them! My personal favorite was the Splinter Zone soundtrack, but all of them were great.

You have a very nice and upbeat style, and I appreciate it a lot! I'll definitely listen to more of your stuff in the future.

don't tell anyone -- that one's a cover
(it's noted in the track info in bandcamp)

not really, it was just styled to be 80s-90s spacesynth a la laserdance or macrocosm

yes it is! and the classic apogee EGA intro is the planet, and the whole cover was traced off this boxart

Listening to your songs on shuffle and repeat since yesterday evening. So upbeat and nice. Realy love those tracks.

And Space Squirrel is currently my favorite. It has an 80s and Amiga-vibe to it. And never get's boring during the song.
