I definitely want a Vive and/or an Omni, but money, space, glasses, processing power, and, in the case of the Omni, weight limits.

I need glasses too, and I constantly have to say, the Vive's lense adjustment capability makes them unnecessary. At worst, it only means you have a shorter play time since some people with glasses get the negative effects of VR faster (headaches/eye strain). But the lenses are designed to negate the need to wear glasses. They would get glare pretty badly anyway.

That one.

But the Vive's lenses are amazing, even for my grandmother who has both of those. So I am just going to keep saying that the vive's much more useable for those with glasses. Since it doesn't require you to wear them to use.

I'm not too interested in VR. I just have the feeling that I'd get motion sick very quickly.

My new laptop definitely supports VR though, so if some VR goggles landed on my lap I'd more than likely give it a try.

VR sickness can depend on what you're doing, too. Experiences where you're moving, but your middle ear and the rest knows you're not, are much more likely to set it off than ones where you're staying still in the real and virtual worlds.
