When are we putting prerendered button graphics back on web pages anyway? It's a nice aesthetic.

I can't really find it again anymore (and don't remember how I did in the first place) but I remember some years ago looking for stuff on MRI coils and finding a page that was last updated before I was born, which was a weird experience.

Late to the party, but this is an incredible version of what so many single-page-apps try to be. The styling is unabashedly early 00s, but the design itself is, dare I say it, very good for the time

I never quite got why frames were so maligned, unless it was literally just that they had issues sometimes with sites ending up in frames they didn't want to be in

Yeah Frames seemed like an actually really decent system, just that it got eclipsed by tables and divs and CSS and JavaScript Duckett out the wazoo

aren't there <meta> attributes that prevent that sort of thing, tho? I vaguely remember something of that sort.

also, it's amusing that they criticize frames for being bad for accessibility, because meanwhile many trendy 'modern web' tricks are about as bad if not worse

I use these search terms frequently because I find wikis to be useless.
