I can drink coffee once in awhile, but it's not my primary source for caffeine. I'm not too picky about brands when I do, but the best coffee I've ever had was Jittery Joe's, a local company in Georgia that used to have actual cafes in my hometown. They're still around, but I haven't found any of their coffee to buy in years. Which is a shame, as I loved their signature "Dancing Goats" blend... though I have seen it used in certain seasonal brews of Terrapin Beer.

I like Decaf with hotchoclate mixed in. It's really good. Thought it's no better then just doing soda pop. since I put a lot of sugar in it.

I do enjoy the coffee of all sorts. The occasional cup of espresso is nice, but good old drip coffee is classic.

I love the smell of coffee.

The taste, I can do without. Yeah, I can add a bunch of sugar and creamer or whatever, but at its core, it'll still be coffee.

And I feel like caffeine just... doesn't work on me, somehow? It doesn't keep me awake. I don't understand. (And yet I still try to stay awake with caffeine, when I can. Because I feel bad if I don't even try, even though I already know it doesn't work.)

So I mostly appreciate coffee from far away.

Caffeine doesn't necessarily work the same for everyone; for some people it will outright put them to sleep or otherwise just have no effect. It's not that common, but it's not unheard of, either.

Yeah, I know a bunch of people who can have coffee, or even energy drinks like Red Bull, and then go right off to sleep straight after.

I know other people who just drink cup after cup of the stuff and it doesn't seem to affect them at all.

Me, on the other hand… I can't have more than 2 coffees a day. And I can't have any caffeine after midday.

I don't drink coffee, and even though I know there are others who feel the same way, I feel like an outcast for it.

Same with alcohol and tobacco.

My mum doesn't drink tea or coffee, and it's definitely raised a few eyebrows over the years. She just asks for plain water.

I'm not really able to drink soda in quantity, though my parents let me have it basically whenever I wanted as a kid. I just come away feeling even thirstier and worse than I started...

I've never tried coffee and I'm not planning to start any time soon.

I'm fine with other non-alcoholic drinks like milk or tea, but I tend to forget they exist in the first place.

I don't really drink coffee either and I've gotten used to it, chocolate milk for breakfast is still cool right.

I don't drink soda that oftenly, but I can drink like a lot of soda at once. Same for juice, which is what I usually drink. For some reason, lately I started to dislike the taste of water, like I can't bring myself to drink water anymore. I think I'm actually somehow still well-hydrated, even though I feel like I shouldn't be.

This happens to me sometimes, and I don't know why. I used to have these little squirty bottles of sugar-free cordial stuff to add to water sometimes so I could actually drink.

Out of curiosity, have you tried different brands of water?

it can seem strange, but for me there's one certain brand of water which I once was fairly neutral about, but at some point I could not stand to drink it anymore.

I've never thought about that until now. Maybe it is...

That's something that I'll try out sometime soon.

fun fact: I used to blame the way the plastic was made in the bottle for the horrible taste.

bonus coincidence addendum: when I said that I couldn't stand that kind of water, it wasn't only me, but others in the family.
