Luckily I don't think I've even written anything quite that awful. I think I'm getting a little better with it as well.

It was fun to write though.

I'm extremely terse. I wish I was better at writing at length.

I like brevity! But when I do it, I feel like I come across rude. I'd like to fix that.

I have a tendency to use brackets to convey something in a good chunk of my posts, as well as leaving more hidden comments than the norm.

It doesn't crop up in forum posts all that often, but I have noticed that I tend to use a lot of indirection when asking favors of people recently, e.g. instead of

But in my forum posts, I do have a tendency to leave punctuation off the ends of sentences

Also, split paragraphs for no good reason? Maybe even suffix emotica?

I think this may be a kind of hedging perhaps? Perhaps sofi could shed some light on this?

That's another thing that tends to pop up, though it's mostly on comedic posts (with the small text replaced by an hidden comment, of course).

Also, this detail of leaving punctuation off is something I tend to do on questions, and only on those.
This mostly happens on IRC though, so there's that.

I also tend to use the word 'also' a lot, especially at the beginning of a sentence. Probably I use it more than that 'I guess'.

You know what's funny? After I've done this post I actually got a lot more aware of how repetitive structurally my posts were and finally did something about it. Whoo-hoo!
