Are there any "Bots" that visit this site? Cause I know they like to make spam threads that have nothing to do with any of the forums here.

Nowadays the spammers are generally humans. They seem to show up rarely these times, but it mostly depends on the site. At my board for example they haven't tried to register in ages, but for some reason they keep trying to post with credentials that don't exist. At another board they occasionally try to register and sometimes manage to post something in Russian.

99% of the time, the point is to inflate some site's SEO ranking by posting links to said site. Or plain old advertisement.

The 'bots' you can see in the online users bar on some Acmlmboards are unrelated, those are search engine crawlers.
