I don't know about the 'DPP' (or DDP) but the 2 audio files in that folder can be played with MFAudio which you can get here while IPU files are indeed whats in the background and can be converted to M2V video using IPUDecoder found here. I could possibly help with other files but I don't own that particular disk (I only own a partially scratched one) and demo's like to use different file formats based on the developer who made them.

I think that building a demo disc (a custom one)isn't too hard. You can even determ colors on menus Via config file

If I'm looking at the right file... well, I found SOUNDS.PAK in a folder called PAKS, is that the same one?

Because if I have the right file here... it looks like it's just a bunch of sound files stuck together, one after the other. Each file begins with the characters "VAGp". So in theory at least, you should be able to:
- open SOUNDS.PAK in a hex editor,
- look for the first instance VAGp (it's right at the beginning),
- select all the data starting from and including VAGp, keep going until right before the next VAGp,
- and save that data that to a new file. You should be able to open it in MFAudio.
- Rinse and repeat until you get to the end of SOUNDS.PAK.

Edit: I tested this with the last sound in SOUNDS.PAK and it seems to work. I don't know how it's supposed to sound in-game, but it plays in MFAudio.

I actually played all the files in SOUNDS.PAK with PSound, download it,use scan file feature and select the pak file ,there's files called loop1 loop2 etc.(music) And there's also files called 1,2,3...they are the sounds of menu, but i don't know the frequency and they just play slow.Anyone can help with frequency of music?

But at least i get into SOUNDS.PAK in PAKS folder With PSound 1.33

For this next part I am using PSound 2.00 from romhacking.net if that makes any difference. In PSound 2.00, if you go to the menu -> Options -> Configure, there is a part labeled "Sample Rate" which you can force to a certain value.

As which the value to use, here are the values directly from the sound headers in SOUNDS.PAK:
- all "loop" sounds and "7": 22050
- all the other sounds (1-6,8,9): 11025

But at least i get into SOUNDS.PAK in PAKS folder With PSound 1.33

Yes,i can force certain values:
If i try to force 22050 value and play loop files it plays slow,if i set it to 24000 it plays fine! I don't know why in 24000 plays fine.
For sounds 11025 value is fine, plays correctly.

That's how demo it's supposed to play(video only shows menu):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSUZBKtbmV0

And i started to explore " Bonus Demo 10 (You)" disc, theres a BSOUNDS.PAK instead, and also a BCONFIG.txt which is easily decryptable with "ops2m" by mlafeldt.
Now i will start exploring it

EDIT:I opened BSOUNDS.PAK and is different music because the menu in the demo disc is newer(2005),here's a video link to show how it should sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWqNf4ibrpg .It has loop files(6 like the SOUNDS.PAK) , the sounds are the same as sounds.pak(1,2,3,etc). Sounds frequency is same as SOUNDS.PAK since they are same sounds, music frequency is 22350 Hz(Maybe not exact value).
--------------------------
And back to normal OPS2M discs, does anyone know in which file the textures are located?

EDIT2:Another thing: Seems like sony's demos does not care about LBA,they starts any ELF file throung CONFIG.TXT. so you can start any demo through config.
Another questionoes anyone know how to extract IRX files?Because i searched on Google and found..nothing
