| So I have been having an interest in modding Rocky Legends for some time now. I can access the files, so here's what I can tell you about it:
Firstly the files are in a MFS archive. The only software that I know of that can open the archive is Game Extractor by Watto. This is the link (exclude the quotes): "http://www.watto.org/game_extractor.html". I looked at the files, and saw a LOT of metadata files for the boxers (even Ludmilla who isn't in the PS2 version). Here's a pastebin link to the Global AI metadata file: http://pastebin.com/5yDkZfwp. Knowing this it looks customizable, right? Well, this is where my issue is. I can't inject the changes I have made to Ivan's stats (making him OP, as a test). Doing so gives me the message of the "archive not being modifiable". I tried the alternative method of opening the archive with a hex editor. Sadly, this didn't work. What can I do? Some other things as well. The anthems are in a compressed wav format (MSV). PSound can extract, but not inject. Is there anything that can be done here? |
