So, the game has been out here in Europe for a while, and I'm currently sitting at the end game having played through it all.

And I must say, I really like the game. It fixes most of the major problems I had with the first game, and I can certainly see myself replaying it. (Unlike the first one). Lot's of new interesting classes, compelling new story, etc. I know it's not out in the US yet, so I won't spoil anything, but I do think it's a game worth playing if you're into RPGs, and specifically RPGs with a heavy focus on character building.

On a related note, if anyone has this game and want to trade friend thingy-majingy, let me know! (It works just like the first game, and I prefer to send healing moves). :3

A lot of people were disappointed by the new OST, I too was when I first started playing. But some of these songs are the type that grow on you. The standard battle theme is not really as good as the one in the first game, for example, but it's still pretty good. I also love some of the new boss songs etc, and they do feel like they fit in with the recycle music from the first game, even though it's a completely different composer.

So yeah, not to hype up the game or anything, but it's everything I wished Bravely Default was~

Spoiler:
God damn, some of the moves are really over powered though. [Good measure] + Summon magic + Spellcraft [Rain] + [Echo] = THE SPELL THAT WILL DESTROY WORLDS!

I'll probably pick this up not long after its release! I wasn't a big fan of the first game's plot, but it kept me interested enough to see it to the end, even if the means to getting there were questionable.

Bravely Default was a very welcome change to your standard JRPG combat/job system from name your favorite SNES JRPG and probably most directly Final Fantasy V.

Yeah, the huge thing that made the first game a tedium isn't there in the sequel, so that's a big plus on it's own. Personally I enjoyed the plot a bit more in this one too. Sure, the first game had some neat plot twists near the end, but they were kind of predictable and not super interesting. This one is a bit more engaged and the the twists are a lot less obvious. (I also recommend playing the demo when that comes out, it's basically a short prequel to the plot of the main game).

Basically that, I love FF5, probably my favourite final fantasy game to this day, to be honest.

The problem with this is that those who use the move will only get 9999 unless you stop time with SP. Healing special moves can raise KOed characters and grant everyone BP too, so it's not just healing.

Personally I really dig sending those myself, but then, I can think of some more broken shit that is just one move that you could send in the new game. They added some crazy extra abilities to some of the jobs.

Game came out a few weeks ago in America; been playing the game on and off (when I'm not busy playing Fire Emblem Fates, ha) and I've been enjoying it so far! Only just reached a point where I feel like I have a decent number of jobs and can easily grind them up about halfway to max level so I'm starting to play around with party compositions and stuff; my favorite part of Bravely Default was having an optimized endgame party to take down the difficult StreetPass bosses on Hard and it's looking like stuff is eventually even more broken in Bravely Second, so that'll be neat to reach eventually.

Do we know if European and American versions of BS can interact? Like, it seems like SQEX is sending Neo ____ bosses now in Europe, whereas we're still only getting the regular versions in America, and it'd be neat to get those bosses early here in America if it's possible to send them via friends online between regions.

Anyways yeah, I also tend to send Special attacks by default. I'm not to the point of having a Rejuvenation that revives, full-heals, gives MP and gives BP yet, so it's just an actual attacking Special instead, but if people wanted me to send a specific spell or something (White Wind is always convenient) then I could update anytime.

Since I got the game at launch, for a long time all the web invites I did produced people from japan. :p So yeah, I'd assume that online for this game is region free. 'w'

I'm actually playing through this game again currently, but on hard mode.
